“Free parking” is just that: you don’t pay for parking. You don’t get MONEY for free parking. When has that ever happened to you in real life?
“No buying property on the first turn” Oh, I’m sorry, I thought this was a free country? I didn’t realize we were playing Mao Ze Dong Monopoly! Because here, in the west, if we see a property we like, we buy it. And if we DON’T buy it, it immediately goes up for auction, and whoever has the cash will buy it, even if it means kicking out all the previous tenants.

I played with my old girlfriend’s family. Her ninety year old aunt was the filthiest bitch I had ever met and kicked everybody’s ass. Great game.

My Gram was a petite well mannered Irish lady that maybe once a year or so would drop a joke or comment that would peel paint.
It was like a comedic sucker punch that would level the whole room.

Great point. Way back when, I said that Spock had already made personal progress when she initiated the coffee date; she had already “won”, regardless of ultimate outcome.
I’ve only followed this tangentially, so I said no more. What amazes me is how the other folk who follow this tangentially as well dole out opinions with such certitude.

Timing is everything. I had a colleague that retired a few years ago, she was in her sixties, very classy. Dressed, well, well read, well mannered, a beautiful woman. Once in a while she would drop the F-Bomb for effect and it always brought the house down.
Less is more.
By all means go for the monopoly but would basically move on, get out there and start meeting new guys, maybe try all these apps the kidzz are on these days
