Girls with Guns... and Sometimes Spears

(Yes, the “N” is correct.)

It’s chambered in 5.7X28, which is a very small, but very fast, round. The weapon holds 21 rounds (which is a fucktard lot of rounds for a pistol).

The grip is a bit thick for some, and its a very expensive weapon, but has zero recoil and the round (because it is so fast and dense) has more stopping power than anything I’ve seen in a pistol.

Some of the OGEs (read: spooks) we took with us in Afganistan had them and they were the only pistol I’ve seen kill people like a rifle.

Very expensive rounds, too. Basically a down-sized rifle bullet in a pistol.

To put it in perspective, the jihadi doctor who went shot up Ft. Hood used a 5-7 and killed, what, 46 people? (Or 16 and injured 46, can’t remember.)
I thought of this also. The only supposed down side I’ve ever heard is that it is loud. But that could also work to the defender’s advantage by scaring the shit out of the attacker.

Nope. I never talked about the incident with either of them. They both died in their 80’s, when I was in my college years. My dad and his brothers have told the story, and they still have her pearl handled pistol.

I’m sorry your grandmother had to carry that emotional burden for the rest of her life, but I think that was the absolute best possible ending to that story, once that fool decided to crawl in her window. Regardless of intentions, intoxication, whatever, he crossed the line and got what was coming to him.

This is what makes me ill when I hear the gun control crowd talk about “gun violence” as if it is all the same. Any thinking person would have to lable your grandmother’s self defence as good gun violence.

Oh well, you can keep your next sheet. I’m sure it was your husbands priority to get you out of there; it is a very overwhelming experience the first time. I wholeheartedly understand. I, too, remember having a sort of caged up, claustrophobic feeling.

You already have another range date? That’s great!

The next time will be more familiar to you. I also can’t recommend good ear protection enough. It can get really loud in there. Do you have anything outdoor there? I’m going to try to find something outdoor in my area for when the weather isn’t - well - freezing.
I believe the overwhelming factor was amplified by my hormonal state.
I am taking actual progesterone: 200 mg a day.

My FSH and LH were high and it has been causing an over stimulation.

On that note, if you are still breast feeding you will be producing prolactin and oxytocin.
These two hormones block the release of FSH and LH.

I would look into it and see how this cocktail affects your training capacity and tailor accordingly so you don’t swim against your present hormonal current.

We will be looking for an outdoor and more “natural” range.

Powerpuff:

I, too, need that T-shirt.

An outdoor range will probably be more comfortable for you. You and I are in the same boat - that we find the indoor cubicle style too closed-quarters.

I have a log now! Dude, Where's My Bar? - Over 35 Lifter - Forums - T Nation I’d be really interested to hear about your experience of balancing your hormones. I’m part way there but some things are affecting my ability to supplement with hormones now at a time when I need them most as they are tanked right now. I can’t even use my progesterone now. :frowning:

Is that the weapon that he used? I remember when that happened. What a tragedy.

I’m going to find out if this would be one of the pistols at that NRA women’s shooting clinic that the women get to try. There are four, total, here this year. Two in Hudson and two in Neenah. I’d love to go to one and my husband encourages me also so I will email them to find out.

The idea of zero recoil is appealing, I won’t lie. The expensive rounds, it would depend. That’s one of the reasons why we got the Px4 Storm - fairly inexpensive rounds. I’ll have to price shop on that one. 21 sure is a lot of rounds though.

1200 bucks at Cabellas, but it looks pretty sweet. Here’s a random youtube review.

That’s an awesome video. You always know the best ones. No kidding about no recoil. This has my interest, for sure.

My GF.
Incredible. She is just stunning. That smile must turn a few heads. I saw the hair and remember a few pictures you had posted before and wasn’t sure exactly who it was.

Wait, so let me get this straight…your gf looks like that, deadlifts heavy, shoots and rocks camo pants. I am never taking my husband to Montana. lol

Good show, pushharder. Congrats.

Wtf old man I want one…

It is good to see another woman handling guns.
Thank you and her for posting, Push.

She looks pretty, capable and has a very nice voice.

How long has she been shooting?

When you can match his Zercher squats I am sure you will have equally beautiful and capable women melt in your presence.

I came into this thread expecting loose women who are scantly clad with rather large, deadly objects in their hands, I am dissapoint.

Except for Push’ GF in that blue dress.

I sure hope you two eat each other alive with all that T in you both.

And I bet you lose a lot of the time.
