Sweet! I wish I could hold it…
which EOTech sight did you put on it, becasue the EOTech 552 comes with aa batteries i think so its cheaper.
Not a bad weapon looks a little to space age for my tastes, not that you can buy fire arms like this in Australia
also dunno if you know but you can change a few of the pins if a left hander or right hander wants to use it
Holy crap! Is this for hunting? Can you get a license for guns like that in the US?
You can from what i have read, you can buy ak-47s and things like that. They are having major problems in Mexico with drug deals going to gun shops and buying weapons like this and taking them into Mexico.
And you wouldn’t use this for hunting 9mm etc its not really ideal. This weapons i designed for urban combat so you would either use this to kill some one or as a sports shooter.
I know it is not suitable for hunting, but I could not think of any other legitamate reason for owning it!
Thats whats so fooked up, if you buy a gun like this do you have to fill out any forms to say what you intend to use it for?
not that I’m aware. And I think it’s perfectly fine to say you want to own the gun just to touch it. That sounds perfectly reasonable to me :). I’ve never really understood the expectation that one should have to have a ‘legitimate use’ for owning a specific gun. I collect swords. There’s no real reason I’d have to use one, but they’re cool, you know? Lots of people collect stuff like that.

Plinking (aka target shooting for fun) is a legitimate reason for owning a gun in the U.S.
We have to fill out forms to indicate we’re not convicted felons, not been dishonorably discharged from the military, not been committed for mental disorders, and not illegal aliens. If we’re none of those things, we can purchase firearms.
And to the person who said it before, yes we can get AK-47s in this country, but only full auto versions made before 1986 or new semi-auto versions.
That’s as far as I’ll discuss this issue. Any discussion passed this point on the legality of firearms should be taken up in the political forum.
To the OP: nice shooter you got there.
And since this is a gun pr0n thread, here’s my collection:
Remington .22 (which I hate, should’ve got a Marlin instead)
Benelli M1 Super 90
S&W 686+
S&W 500 Magnum
SIG P229 .40 S&W
SIG P220ST .45 ACP
Glock 17C
Not pictured:
FN49
10 shot S&W 617
Carbon Fiber Walther P22.
Wish List:
HK Mark 23 (aka The Mall Ninja Deluxe)
Nice, I am not questioning gun laws, I too have a gun license just not for in the UK.
I have been on many hunting safari’s and I am pro gun, I was just curious about how you obtain certain weapons.

Nice fun gun!
I once met a firefighter at the range who had a CX4 9mm set up with a large Tru-glo red dot. He was sighting-in to go hunt pig hunting in texas.

It depends on the state. I am a newbie shooter and have only purchased guns in CO.
In Colorado I could walk into the gunstore and purchase that exact gun in about and hour.
You need to fill out a standardized form and wait while they run your info through an an internet dastabase.
In early Feb I bought a Marlin levergun .357 magnum. I did the paperwork had some tacos and then pcked up my carbine.
It took about 70 minutes.
On the flipside, that gun is ilegal in California.
A Pistol caliber carbine and red dot make a handy combo.
I once had a .357 Winchester 94 scout-mounted with a Millet red dot.
It was extremley fast and accurate.
I might set me Marlin up the same way.

Love the P229. I have been drooling over that gun for ages. How’s it been treating you?
How are the compensated barrels on the Glocks? I was looking at getting the 17C but a lot of people say that once they put night sights on, they get fouled up pretty quick as the ports in the barrel blow fouling straight up.
You ever shot your 17C at night? Thats pretty fun to wacth, there are youtube videos showing it. Fire out the barrel and the top of the gun, in a big v-shape flame.

I don’t understand compensated barrels. Shooting the ported barrel in low light would seem to screw your night vision.
Glad to see some of us are ready for the zombie epidemic.

You can’t buy full auto weapons. The OP’s 9mm is probably not full auto. You CAN get full auto weapons at gun shows in states like CO. but congress is working hard to close that loophole.
So, yes, you can buy an AK-47 anywhere in the US (my friend just did) but it will most likely fire like any other semi-auto rifle.
