As for denying your PM, given T-Nation’s privacy policy it’s hard for me to prove it (as it is for you to disprove it). In a perfect world, a mod would have to intervene in this matter. Anyhow, for the sake of completeness, I’ll quote your the full text of you PM to provide context. It’s a verbatim quote and the PM is titled “Dumb”.

And if anyone is around Sweden and wants to verify its authenticity, all you have to do is ask.

Well, it would be easy to prove, one way or another. If Lixy hasn’t deleted the PM in question, the administrator would have no trouble verifying whether it indeed came from the IP address associated with your account. If it turns out that no such PM was ever sent, or that you weren’t the one who sent it, then you’re off the hook. And you can start your libel lawsuit proceedings forthwith.

It’s quite cool. I got a PM from Mod Jump 'N Jack a few minutes back asking me to forward the offensive message to him/her so they could look into it. Apparently, they take the issue of abusing the PM system for insults quite seriously.

Their parents should be thrown in jail too! Their comments defending their childrens acts are shocking!

The mother of one of the accused said the girl wasn’t hurt, but she suffered a concussion, permanent hearing loss, and has blurred vision in one of her eyes. That sounds like someone got hurt to me!

You’ve got to demonstrate economic hardship arising from the falsehood before you can win a defamation suit. Good luck proving that “lixy” has sufficiently damaged “Rob in WDC’s” character such that “Rob in WDC” has suffered economically.

Get off your high horse. I have one if not the most prominent business attorneys in the region on retainer and have for years because of business interests. I understand all the little terms you are using and have even had the pleasure of being sued myself so don’t try to speak down to me.

I think there are several of us who would pony up. No established attorney I know would make such a stupid statement.

In fact, I don’t know a single successful attorney that is not working 6 12 hour days and typically half days on Sunday. They would never spend time on a forum like this thumping their chest and behaving in the same manner as this yo-yo.
