Congrats on the PR, still riding the boost from food I see. ![]()
Congrats on the PR, bench PRās are to be treasured.

Betty, Frenchy & giterdone ā OK, now we know! RDLs are a great exercise and well and truly toasted my hammies so that I was still sore on Sunday from doing them on Friday.

Peeks out from the shadows I hear ya on the RDLs! Iām still feeling mine from last Wednesday.
Solid work in here!
YIPPEE!!!
Whoa, nice PR.
I fatigue easily on bench too. I need like, 15 minutes rest between sets.
Of course I canāt do that anymore, so weights can go downhill pretty fast ![]()
Strong work nonetheless
a bench PR!!!
highfive
Good job on the PR! Looks like a good solid workout!
I thought I saw a bench PR? Is this kimbaās log?
well hell yes mah dear, it is!
YOU GOT A BENCH PR!!
in case you didnt know.
Thanks for the high-fives on my bench PR.
Hi LastStand, thanks for saying hey.
Yup, it happens rarely. But even a little rep PR reward every now and again is enough to keep me coming back to the weight room looking for more.
ART this morning always makes me so hungry. Hips, IT band, calvesā¦all worked on. Kind of like doing regular maintenance on a late model car.
Great job on the bench. And thereās nothing wrong with putting a little love into a classic ferrari. It beats the hell out of getting a brand new geo metro. ![]()
Kimba: Nice bench PR! BBB is brutal. You gotta use ridiculously light weight to get through it (to start). I BBBād my squats last cycle with just the bar, and even that was hard.
Wendler on BBB from 5-3-1:
āThe first time you try this, go light. Very light. Go with something you know will be easy Ć¢?? maybe around 30-40% of your max. From there, you can work with 50-60%, or whatever you want.ā
Jack, I am happy to think of myself as a classic Ferrari. Iām classy like that. ![]()
Nadia, yeah I wasnāt going light enough. Iāll try BBB next time with something ridiculous like 60 or 65 lbs.
So, tomorrow Iām turning 46 years old. And my mommy still sends me birthday money. How cute is that?!?! So my fun today was blowing it all at my favorite lulu store. New pants! A new tank and tee! I am so easily made happy.
Please Shaq, do not get hurt in Cleveland tonight so that I can watch you play from the 7th row tomorrow nite. kthxbai.

Box squats are great training for my glutes/hams and make me really focus on using them instead of my quads so as to combat the knee cave.

so glad this is working for you !!
congrats on that Bench PR, and have a wonderful Birthday!
