x2

waffles increase your DL, its a fact.

Snapper, I really like how you put that: my wish to fit into my expensive jeans is the ONLY DAMN THING keeping me from being the strongest woman in the universe. YEAH!

George and Joe, thanks for the good wishes. I leave on Friday. Frankly, its not real to me yet because of all the things that need doing between now and then.

Today’s training was an “Off the Reservation” day with my trainer-dude. It is really nice not to have to think about my workout. Blind following is so relaxing.

Undulating ropes, 3 sets

TRX workout

HS Individual Handle Pull downs
some for some

Leg Press
190# 1 x 15 (plie position) 1 x 15 (regular)

Planks

I am going to try to get in my week 3 Military Press workout on Friday. Then its a week of deload. I actually am really interested to check out the hotel gyms in Amsterdam and Brussels. Call me crazy, but training is a real love of mine, and I might not feel the need to take a vacation from it.

your not crazy, I feel the same way!

This is exactly my feeling about training. It’s the only thing I really love doing.

I hope you have a stellar vacation. You all up on your pounds to kilos conversions?

you’re crazy.

just, OUR kind of crazy.

'sok.

The ONLY thing, daCharm?

Reading statements like this makes me feel not so crazy. Because I, also, feel the same way about training.

Have a great trip. I’m super envious. Hash brownies and wooden shoes ftw. Seriously have a great adventure.

Glad to see you’re still training smart in here, and did I spy a bench PR a few workouts back?

Have fun on your trip!! Take lots of pics to share, k?

The only thing I love doing that I also get to do. Let’s not go farther than that.

Apparently I am in good company here. However, I am not up on my pounds to kilos conversion so I predict a bit of trial and error.

Utterly intriguing statement, this.

I really admire this about both of you guys, your single minded dedication to lifting. I love lifting but I also love combat sports, playing football and other sports, and just generally moving and sweatting. I’d probably make a lot better progress if I gave up the rest of the stuff.

Kimba bikes, Maschy plays soccer… It all depends on personality and taste. If really your trying to gain mass than perhaps laying off the other stuff for a bit is needed. But if doing it all makes you happy, who the hell cares?!

I know too well exactly what he means.

On to something more fun…did you at one time post a sexay pic of you in your new belt, or was that a dream i had?

Not a dream. That picture is buried in my last log.

Well, giterdone. I’m not exactly sure what you and DCA mean but I might have some idea. Bummer.

And I agree, bummer.

You know, I just totally don’t get this about some women. Being a woman in my mid-40s. Best time in my life regarding the above.

Anyways, I tend to be a bit obsessive. And powerlifting is no exception. I understand that many people lift to stay in shape or as training for another sport. For me, lifting is my passion.

kilos to pounds: easy formula is to double the number and add 10%. I’m sure you’ll catch on in no time, Kimba. Smart little whip that you are.

multiply by 2.2
or did I miss something.

I will agree and say that Kimbakimba and DCA have some very precise training

I guess you do it in your head after a while

with wrestling it was getting on a metric scale 4x a day
then with O-lifts it was like can I snatch/clean/jerk/fail at that weight
