Do you really not think your “friends” are low quality people?

Do you really believe that most people are like that?

I do think they are low quality, I never said I thought otherwise.

and I used to believe it was “just them” who were like that… then I left for university and met dozens upon dozens more like them… of course I met a lot of people who were actually quality as well…

I guess I would say that my female friends represent a subculture in a way…

im going on a percentage basis of the people I met… obviously there were tens of thousands in the school, but I didn’t meet everyone

It’s at least .0000003% of humanity.

Maybe your ability to judge people is the problem. Not judging here, but if you keep gravitating towards the same people, its probably a coping mechanism of yourself. This makes you feel better about yourself because you choose losers to hang with.
Just a thought

interesting thought… however it’s the losers who end up being the most needy and selfish… not exactly my preference.

I have a 20 year old stepson who just seems to have “loser” types that end up in his life. Him and I have had this conversation, my thought his self esteem is boosted by the fact he is smarter than these kids.

Sorry but no way you are altruistic and have no “selfish” desires or thoughts.

It is your preference or you wouldnt surround yourself with them. Why dont you see that? What do you owe these people?

Your continuance to think you are always right and failling to admit faults is a red flag. You will not get far in any walk of life, professionally or socially like that.

They say with money, you usually make an average of your 5 closest friends or the people you spend the most amount of time with. If the same is true in the moral and social sense, maybe you are just as bad as the people you are around.

Seriously though, why would someone with so much to offer and who is such a saint hang around such ‘losers’? It makes no sense unless the one in question isnt so great or has that much more to offer.

you quoted my entire post except for the part that said I believe my “loser friends” represent a sub culture… how conveniently misleading

im not sure where I said I was “blameless” or “a saint”, then again, you all seem to be grasping at straws a good bit.

anyways, I haven’t completely given up on these people, because I do care about them. one of my closest friends, who was by far the biggest loser of the bunch, has completely turned his life around and is now doing incredibly well.

he said that I was a big part of what inspired him to change. hopefully my other “loser friends” can be rehabilitated.

Well Sir, serious allegations of emotional tamponery have been raised.

Have you ever been, or are you now, someones cuddle bitch?

Well, emotional tamponery would be a behavior most likely displayed by a beta orbiter in that he listens to her little girly wheels spin without being taken for a ride.

The only way to surpass this is a platonic sleepover or cuddling, which provides her with emotional comfort and you with blue balls.

That would make you a cuddle bitch and violate the untrinsically carnal nature of your bed.

I am not entirely convinced.

You virginery or non sexery sets you up for emotional tamponery.

Though probably not for cuddle bitchery.
