Out of curiosity to the single parents out there trying to date. If they don’t ask you if you have kids and you don’t volunteer the information to them, when do you tell them you have a child? I’m just wondering because I have dated two girls with kids before and both of them told me right away they had a son, which I didn’t mind at all.
I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’ve tried being open about it and telling them right away, which hasn’t exactly been received well. Keep in mind, though, I’m talking about girls in their early 20s and I suspect age makes a pretty big difference.
I’m starting to wonder if maybe the best thing to do is just look for other single parents your age.
It really depends on the woman. And where the relationship is going.
In my personal experience, I explain I’m divorced and yes I have kids. What my schedule is with them, so she knows that there are nights I’m not available.
I just leave out the headcount.
If it starts looking like it might be a little more serious, then I’ll discuss specifics.
Usually, the “Do you like hockey?” test flunks most of them before I get anywhere near the kids discussion.

A high headcount for a guy isn’t as bad as it would be for a woman. When you hear that many kids you start wondering about the condition of the Vag. On the other hand for a guy, guess it just means you’re good for sexytimes.
I am actually good about that as one of my biggest pet peeves is loud chewers.
