Girl Gets Uppercut by Bus Driver

I’m weighing in on this kinda late. I think others have already said this but, posters are not distinguishing between her actions and his. They are two distinct points to discuss. But we all agree that she should not have done what she did. SImple

But the bus drivers actions are not justifiable either. And it is irrelevant whether he gets fired or not. What decision his employers make, or whether his union is “100% behind him” is absolutely not the issue. I think this makes my attitude towards the matter clear.

That out of the way, I gotta tell you, dudes like Therajraj are exactly the kinda people that shouldn’t be big and 6 foot something. You’re exactly the the kinda guy, Raj, that shouldn’t be lifting weights, or studying a martial art or playing with matches. Because somehow in you head, you find validation from this incident and probably any other one like it to justify your opinion that it is okay to smack a woman around. What’s the problem Raj? I seriously can’t believe anyone in this thread considers this incident or one anything short of an armed confrontation between a physically healthy man and any kind woman remotely necessitating uppercutting a woman.

You can take that “You’re a white knight!” bullshit and shove it up your ass too. I don’t hit women. I have never felt compelled to hit a woman. You can’t bitch about society not being fair on men, because you don’t get to hit woman enough and that they shouldn’t complain when it happens. If you’re saying that, then you invalidate your on damn arguement.

Isn’t the guy in the orange vest supposed to help out in these situations? Or maybe he’s just a passenger who is going hunting and/or on his way to his construction job.

That’s why the bus driver is in trouble.

Someone, “Bring the Ambalamps!”

I gotta start riding the bus.

It would have been magnificent if you ha been there.

Perhaps you could consider that…moving to Ohio and being like a Sky Marshall but on the bus.
They’d throw me in jail the same day. I’d do worse shit to people than the Granpa in the video.
I thought what you do to men who cannot beat you in a Judo match-off in private is well…private?

You didn’t take your Dark Destroyer out to whack a few bitches upside the face did you?

LMFAO!!

Brilliant, SS!

Its not right to hit someone weaker than you, no matter if they are a woman or a man. If they are armed or in some way threaten your life its different, but punching people is rarely needed in everyday life. The buss driver could easily just carry her off the bus and throw her stuff after her without punching her in the face.
My English is not perfect, dont hate…

Try throwing a young woman off a bus with a bad attitude and a serious behaviour issue whilst her friends watch/intervene and you’re 50 years of age or older.

Exactly.

Again, it’s super easy to criticize that driver’s actions from up in your ivory tarn, but anyone talking about what that bus driver should have done was not in the chaotic situation he was, forced to make the decision he chose to make.

It doesn’t surprise me that pstianb is from Norway - it’s a highly feminist nation.

Completely explains his post

The ‘weak’ have a duty to themselves if no one else, not to antagonize those who are able to inflict harm on them and not hide behind values of honor and chivalry which they clearly do not respect, but hold other people to for as long as it allows them to abuse others with impunity.

I think what get neglected is that she hit him while HE WAS DRIVING A FUCKING BUS.

With people in it and whatnot.
That is the point everybody is missing. If she’d manage to stun him she could have seriously injured of killed everyone on the bus. So this was not a situation where she just hit him, this was indeed a lethal force encounter. She didn’t understand that cause she was mad. He did and he knew that dealing with her was going to go poorly.

He got fired for the simple fact that the incident got taken out of context and the administration then needs to manage expectations about the new context. Sucks to be him but someone has to pay so the public knows their best interests are being taken care of.

I’m amazed at how many people miss the entire point of this video… It is sexist in the extreme to assume that a woman can’t kill you or that she is the weaker sex that needs everyone to come to her aid. She started swinging and was a hazard to all and the driver is charged with their safety.

So try this as an experiment. Next time you are driving down the road, what would you do if the passenger starts beating you? Are you going to be all understanding about where they are coming from or are you going to stop immediately and get them out of your car? Even if they are not terribly effective THE VEHICLE is the danger.

I’m probably just full of shit as usual, so don’t mind me…

She had no friends on that bus.

Who was weaker? The driver

 • had both hands on the wheel
 • had to keep them there to control a multi-ton vehicle at speed
 • was in traffic
 • had possibly several passengers
 • was trapped in the seat probably with seatbelt on.

She could beat him with no chance of getting hit back. Being physically weaker doesn’t matter if I am clever. Indeed, appealing to your better nature to be a good person while I beat you senseless is a pretty good trick. She set up the assault very well. So if you were the driver in this situation (and you might have been killed too in a traffic accident because of her), what would you do?

With as many white knights as we’ve seen come out of the woodwork in this thread, you have no way of knowing that. Neither did he.
