Anybody have any info on this?
I imagine it’s rather high, but since most people typically don’t consume that much at a time the load would be low.
In other words, it’s nothing to worry about.
What are you talking about HK? I think you might be confusing the topic with something else. he’s talking about rilose powder; rilose is a fake scientific sounding name made up by the manufacturer (sofl on protein factory). The GI is actually probably lower than dextrose.

Hopefully you don’t buy this stuff for post workout, which would coincidentally make HK’s claim true that
most people typically don’t consume that much at a time
You’re right. I thought he was talking about D-Ribose.
I need a larger monitor!
yeah i wasnt sure what to make of it, especially as it was being touted as “better” than malto and dextrose but then the only other site was kind of an expose.
I do have like 5 lbs of malto and dextrose lying around anyways, but would be interesting if there was a carb with a higher insulin response. like one super extreme intense workout and then diabetes for the rest of your life haha.
You can get a better insulin response than just dextrose or malto by adding protein. Specifically, you’ll get an insane insulin response if you use a product with dextrose, hydrolyzed casein, leucine, and phenalalynine. That’s pretty much the Surge Recovery formula with the whey replaced with Casein.
Pretty much the exact formula in Surge has been studied independent of the Surge product and shown to illicit a very high insulin response, each ingredient giving an added benefit.

Right now my -15 pre WO is 40g malto, 10-20g dextrose, 15-20g CH and it tastes god awful. Can not wait for MAG-10 so I can go back to looking like im gonna hurl after my workout and not before. I might look into the additional AAs you metioned since you seem to indicate they have an additive or synergistic effect. I kind of assumed between the 3 ingredients I nuked my pancreas pretty good but if I can step it up a notch theres no reason not to grab some bulk stuff and try it out cheap. Thx.
Im kind of surprised there is no Surge 2.0 coming out with all this new stuff but I dont want to have my comment moderated so I’ll leave that discussion alone.
