I can’t decide if this is going to be halfway decent or just awful. I know I’m not a big fan of Ghost Riders “voice” already. What do you guys think?

I think it will do just fine if it has good writers. They are what make the movie great or aweful. I have no problems with Nick Cage and don’t understand the hatred for him. The man grew up reading that comic. I would rather have someone like that in that role than someone who never heard of the character before he got the script.

I have no problems with Nic Cage but did you hear the actual voice of Ghost Rider? I think it could have been done better. I guess I’ll know for sure when this comes out.
From the preview it looks good, ive never read the comics, but it looks interesting.

I wouldn’t judge special effects a year before the release date of the movie. There were scenes in the X-Men 3 trailer that were enhanced and looked much better in the actual movie (like the scene where Jean Gray blows the doors off of the lab as she walks through). In the trailer the doors just blow off. In the movie they desintegrate and then blow off. Little details like that will be worked on for the next few months before it ever hits a movie theater. That is why I’m not bitching about how the skull looks like so many people seem to be.

This is true. Sometimes the special effects are worked on and tinkered with until almost the day of its release. I can think of a few movies where the special effects in the trailers looked different than the finished product. The Hulk comes to mind.
Anyway, I think the effects look good so far and I’m looking foward to the movie. Then again, I look foward to any comic book related movie.
