Let me start off by saying I’m 16 years old. I play football and dislocated my right shoulder many times making it unstable. No tears but the ligaments are stretched out.I will be getting arthoscopic surgery to tighten them on sept.29. My question is what effects growth hormone or rhgh would have on accelerating the healing process. I’ve done alot of research but nothing really answers my question. I would be able to aquire the gh from my brother so that isn’t a problem. Also if just having high gh levels helps the healing, is MSM, L-glutamine, arganine, and other precursers efficient enough? Any response on the subject would be appreciated.

WHAT THE FUCK. No, for the love of God, you DON’T FUCK AROUND WITH HORMONES. And your 16, for the love of God, the biggest deal in the world of supplements you should have to trying to convince your parents to buy you protein powder. The only supplements that someone under 21 should ever use include creatine, minerals/vitamins, neurotransmitters, and protein powder. Don’t ever, ever, fuck around with GH, that is how many of the professional bodybuilders who don’t know how to handle steroids and are in the ‘how much shit can I inject and still have only 4 limbs’ mode get fucked up.
As far as recovering from your surgery, I’d say lay off it entirely for 2 months, maybe longer, except rehab shit. Once you do get back in the game, don’t do overhead pressing of any kind, and lay of any vertical pressing for that matter. Also, try and bench more powerlifting style, elbows tucked w/ arch etc. This will keep excess strain off your shoulders which are already getting fucked up with all the tackling blocking etc.
Stay safe, eat hella food, and lift smart.
i have to agree with Owen on this. at 16 your body’s hormones are already in a major turmoil. do not mess around with the natural processes that occuring during your teenage years. it’s great that you’re active, that itself, will release natural GH (from your body).
just take it easy and get back into it slowly. sorry to hear about your condition. good luck for the surgery.
Just so you know, taking growth hormone before you are finished puberty can result in Giantism. Which along with the other potential side effects from GH, may be the worst. Also that stuff is CRAZY expensive. Rest your shoulder, and follow the recovery protocol recommended by the Dr. Also, I would suggest using the Shoulder Horn. It is a piece of equipment that is great for strengthening the shoulder joint.
