HGH for Injury

So I’m thinking about taking HGH to help with a shoulder injury. I wouldn’t plan on taking a large dose, not for very long. I’m not so much interested in muscle growth from it than I am injury rehabilitation. The injury is a torn labrum, and I understand HGH may not help much in this case, but it’s worth a shot as I’ve got quite a while before surgery. I’ll probably take some post-surgery too, but I’m interested in pre-surgery right now.

Main questions are:

  1. What dose for injury rehab
  2. Is insulin required for this application

No knowledge to help, but wanted to voice my concern(as I’ve been dealing with bad rotators for quite a while)…Damn the torpedoes, Stop at nothing to get well, nothing

While I’m certainly no expert on the subject, the general rule of thumb I’ve heard is 2-4 iu’s for injury recovery, 4+ iu’s for the anabolic effect.

Just my $.02, but that’s the general consensus I’ve heard.

yeah, I figured a lower dose would be in order, and as I wouldn’t be using it for the muscle gains I wondered about the use of slin with it. I know more guys around here are more experienced with GH.

I sent a few PMs to a couple of other vets in other forums who have a good deal of experience and knowledge about GH. I’ll post their replies when they come in.

Bump.

If your still going to have surgery on it, what are you using it for pre surgery? strength?
I may have a torn labrum as well just interested in knowing.

Surgery may be quite some time off due to insurance issues, so I figured some HGH may be beneficial for maintaining function until that time. I do not lift my upper body except very lightly, and using very limited movements, but what really bothers me is everyday activities bother the injury. I figure HGH may help relieve some of these issues until surgery takes place.

I have read some posts online about HGH and injuries. Here is some links hope this might help lead you on your path Schwarz.

Bushy, thanks for the tips. I figured IGF could help, but I think there are some benefits to HGH that aren’t found with IGF. The main reason is that I’m already ordering some HGH, so I figured I’d add on to the order instead of placing a separate order for IGF. I haven’t used HGH before, so I thought I’d give it a try to see the difference with IGF.

Anyway, my muscles, cartilage (outside of the labrum), bones, joints in general are all 100% okay. The problem is the torn labrum, which won’t be helped by ART, scar tissue, or likely HGH to any great extent (but I figure I’ll try). I did try alflutop before, but it wouldn’t help here. The cartilage is healthy, outside of the tear in my labrum. I take other cartilage supps though.

Dirtbag, thanks for the links. I’ll check them out.
