A style of american football offense where the offensive line has to actually run, rather than just take up space.

People can’t be this stupid.

I’m 6’ and would have a hard time getting UNDER 200lbs, lol[/quote]

hmmm… Can’t be talking about my giant penis, and I’m pretty sure I never said I was 6’4"

If I did say I was 6’4" it was a typo. I’m like 6’ - 6’1" on a good day.

I am as tall as you I’ve been 220 before I used to be just as skinny. I ate food and lifted weights.

I hit 220 at 5’8 back before I started being concerned with looking like an actual bodybuilder. In hindsight, I didn’t need to get that heavy, but starting out at 150 lbs, it did take a lot of concerted effort to address my eating to fully support the time spent in the gym.

S

Is there such a thing as TOO 200 lbs? Can’t get enough 200 lbs over here…

I started training 6 months ago - stopped 2 years -, and I gained 40 lbs without too much fat. I continue to progress at about 1lb/week.

So yes, it is definitely possible.

Yes.

my bad, my attempt at humor was ultimately, not funny.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to believe that someone could eat 14,000 kcals a day. The guy was hitting the weights twice a day, had football practice, and was a teenager at the time. As a teenager I was perpetually hungry and probably averaged 5,000 kcals a day just to maintain my weight.

I remember in high school, I lifted twice a day on top of 2.5-3 hour football practices and was eating prob upwards of 6-8000 calories/day lol.

This thread made me think about how much I ate in college. The spring after my junior year I was weighing 298 and running a 4.92 40 yd dash, and making some of the best lifts of my life. I went to a Hooters and sat there and ate 50 wings and had 8 pints of beer. 1248cals of beer, 8660 cals of chicken wings in one sitting.

(I also just realized I may not eat hooters wings anymore)

For graduation a buddy of mine that worked at a packing plant brought up 60 lbs of chicken wings. My guard and I split 10lbs btwn the 2 of us in about an hour.

Other tackle and I grilled a 16oz sirlion apiece one night and were gonna split a 30 and a 12 of CL’s, but were still hungry. So I got out a 10pack of 8oz bacon wrapped filets and we grilled them up and split them too, split the beer and went to the bar. 2142 cals of beer, 3427 cals of steak in one sitting. (probably 3-4hrs)

tveddy,

dude that is impressive. That reminds me of high school; most of the o line went to a chinese buffet one night, after about 15 minutes they asked us to leave. We just about ate them out of food.

WAS, not is. I haven’t eaten like that since I got out of college. But the thing is, I always had other OLs around so it seemed normal at the time.
