People can’t be this stupid.
I’m 6’ and would have a hard time getting UNDER 200lbs, lol[/quote]
That’s how I feel, I actually started lifting and weighed about 170. Now I’m a solid 230 hahaha.

Haha, whey protein is not a must. Im at 240 and I don’t even have access to whey.
OP just needs to learn how to eat and you need to stop giving bad advice.
Well put it this way I’m not fat, am 5ft 10" and only a few pounds away from 200 and there’s no way I won’t go well over 220lbs at similar condition… truth is if I only ever got to 220 at this condition I’d still probably be far from my potential. So yes. Even pretty possible in contest shape @ 6ft.

Bingo^^
When i was playing college football I kept track of my calories for a week when I was a freshman and trying to put on weight. I averaged 14k Cal a day. I went from 225 to 275 in a semester. Bench went from 365 to 435, squat went from 455 to 605, hang clean went from 275 to 360. In one semester. Eating is the key. To give you an idea of what that diet is like, I ate a 4 egg omelet, 4 hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, 4 pieces of Bacon, sausage (2 links 2 patties), and a Belgian Waffle with PB on it for breakfast every day. Then btwn class I walked over to McD’s and got 2 double 1/4 pounders. For lunch I ate whatever slop the cafeteria served in the same amount as breakfast (Usually they had a make your own burger buffet and I would have 8-10 patties with cheese, no buns, along with whatever fried food and potatoes they were serving). After practice protein shake and then dinner with the same amount of food. Then lifting for the second time that day followed by a protein shake. Then off to McD’s right before they closed for a 20 piece nugget and 2 mcchickens. Then I would have a 12pack and go to sleep cause we had 6am weights every day.

Whey protein IS a must, how is it even possible? your at 240 because of GENETICS. Whey protein is more important than most food…protein is what builds muscle, not food. OP cant get to 200 without whey at least 3x a day.

14k? miscalculation or joke or what? Were you eating raw lard mixed with sugar and protein powder? :o)

Lol this could definitely be taken hugely out of context. Someone 165 will probably gain starting at literally 3000 calories unless they have a physical job or do physical work outside the gym (eg. sport). OP assuming you are maintening your weight at however much you are eating now, adding 1000 calories of good foods will most likely keep you going for awhile until you stagnate, if you do, add more calories…

Yeahhhhhh I dont come close to believeing this. Scott Mendleson has said he eats something like 12k cal a day and he hates it I dont think this guy ate 2k cal more then the bench champion…
I’m fighting to get below 200 right now. I started at 145, topped out at 228. It takes time, dedication, and lots of clean food if you want a respectable physique.

you’re my hero… nice pic in profile.
Vic Richards claimed he once ate 30,000cals in one day.
For some reason, I believe he could do it if motivated.
I think the most I’ve done would be around 12,000 and that was probably when I was closing in on 300 and was by no means an everyday thing.
This thread is suicide inducing.

This poor guy has already gotten his share of shit on this site - already called out several times.
He has a pic in his hub - while he’s carrying plenty of fat, he’s got some serious muscle under there. Big dude, and not JUST pork…
@ op
Nope, Its impossible. I steal my kids juicy juice daily just to maintain 238lbs.
Before anyone complains - They’re kids. What do they need to be juicing for?

No, I was 18 and did what the strength coaches said.

Not as fat as I am now. We ran the option. That even keeps OLs somewhat lean.

No worries man. They can say what they want. The fact of the matter is that the OP doesn’t think he can gain weight. I believe I illustrated for him that he could probably eat more. I’m not saying that he has to eat like and all american offensive lineman, just that he can eat more.
[edit] I can no longer eat like that. I gain weight now if I look at carbs. Now I’m consuming about 300-350g protein a day, 1oz olive oil, 5g fish oil, and about 20-40g carbs
