Getting Old and Feeling the Cold

I am only 32 so I am not really ‘old’ yet in fact I am physically on top of my game but here is the weird thing that I cannot understand.

When I was younger I would go out in minus tempretures wearing just a T shirt and although I was a bit chilly I was never botherd by the cold weather, admitidly there was some young bravado involved but I was not that bothered by the cold.

Now if it goes below 5 .C I am wrapping up like an eskimo. I hate the cold! I cannot go out in just a T shirt no way!

Now why would getting older, make me less tolerant of the cold?

Best be finding a rest home pops.

I suspect it’s just practice.

When I was younger I worked outside all the time and even in the middle of winter I’d normally be found wearing a t-shirt.

Since then much of my working life has been outside. I never bother with the heating in my house as I simply find it too warm.

During the winter I am outside most weekends walking or climbing.

Maybe that’s all there is to it. I’m 38 by the way.

[edit] Either that or you got the ghey.

I’m 38 and not even close to getting old. You’re still a puppy

I’m 18, and I actually walked for about 5 minutes not wearing any t-shirt, and didn’t feel cold. Usually in winter I’d wear a t-shirt, eveyone else would wear layers, an jackets, and hats, then again I am extremely hairy. But its getting colder, and now I’m into the phase where its even too cold for me, and have to wear at least 2 t-shirts to feel ok. I could never go out in the cold if its frosty, that would just kill me.

Maybe i do have a touch of the Ghey, I wonder what brought that on?

I once was out with a friend when I was in my mid 20’s and we had to piss on the locks of my car door to unfreeze them to get home at the end of the night, as it turned out it was minus 15 that night, we only had shirts on and was not bothered.

i am at home right now with the heating set to 22.C and I am feeling a little nippy in my T shirt.

mmm. Maybe it is the gheys :frowning:

I turn 36 this year. I started freezing my ass off when it gets below 50F about 4 years ago.

We really are meant for each other, Ren ;p

I was just complaining earlier that everyone keeps the house too damn hot.

“Where the fuck is global warming when you need it?!”
