Recent Squat PR set today. Loving the new belt and sleeves, my lifts feel a lot stronger, more secure, and more stable. Also, I did this on a shitty week of no sleep + I haven’t deloaded in two months. I’m fairly beat up right now. The barbell fucked me out of going for a 7th rep…it was visibly bent and took the liberty of rolling down my back after a moderately hard rep #6. Oh well. At least I know that there is much more in the tank when I’m fresh…I can’t wait. 295 x 10 will fall very soon. BW - 175.

Squat

45 x 2 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3 — insanely fast, beltless
250, 275 x 1 — belt was too loose here but these still moved great.
295 x 6 — strong set. PR.
315 x 1 — easy rep, could have had a
solid triple.
335 x 0 — scarred my back again. The barbell rolled down my back as I rebounded out of the hole, and I couldn’t save it.

Been a little quiet here lately. How you doin @liftangryordie500

well, my parents found out i smoke cigarettes and they don’t care. my meds also aren’t really working. my ex also cheated on me and dumped me over text, and my home life is as disturbing as ever. still no social life, friends, or any of that stuff. i don’t sleep much, but weed helps.

on the positive side though, i’ve scored a part time job making $500 a week for as long as i want it. manual labor, so i’m training less frequently now. but, weightlifting has always been the most effective antidepressant for me, so i’m not giving up on it.

overall, how i’m doing really depends on the day. when it’s bad, i have suicidal impulses and urges. when it’s not, i’m just pretty numb and slightly less sad. i haven’t showered or brushed my teeth in a while. i try to take care of myself but sometimes i come up short.

Oh man… well I’m glad you’re being productive, and money is always a good thing to have. That seems to be a good amount! Just my 2c but try not to let it interfere with studies. I know, sounds like a nagging Asian mom lol. I know a degree isn’t absolutely necessary these days but it’s always something good nice to have just in case. Manual labor gets you strong too so who knows, maybe you’ll surprise yourself when you get back to training consistently.

Really happy you didn’t mention anything about your stomach. Hope that part isn’t giving you problems as of late.

@liftangryordie500 Life is tough, dude. I don’t need to tell you some bullshit about how everything will be okay, so I’ll just hit you with some facts instead. If you want to get another girlfriend or get laid, you need to shower and brush your teeth. You also need to quit smoking if you want to get gains, and adding smelling like an ash tray to smelling like B.O. and halitosis won’t help. I smoked for 14 years. Might still get cancer for the rest of my life because of it.

dude, i gave up a while ago. stomach still gives me issues every day, but they’re getting better slowly.
