Im roughly 165 6,0 and I wouldnt say shredded but im pretty cut.
Now im working on weights, and I read in here over and over again that to get bigger you gotta eat, eat ,eat. every two hours u should have some food in your mouth.
Well im gonna try and follow that but i jsut wanna know if ill be putting on weight will i still remain pretty cut if im working out…should i be eating specific foods to put on size and at the same time keeping bodyfat down?
Thats my number one question…cause i wanna put on more size but stay pretty cut
This will keep it simple. You will have to gain some fat if you want to gain muscle. IF appearance is most important, focus on the cleanest foods possible. That shouldn’t be a problem considering your size. The bigger you get, the harder it will become to always eat clean. Anyways, focus on the clean foods, increase cals slowly, and if you are gaining too much fat for your taste, ease back on the cals and just keep going until your happy.
The more complicated you make it, the harder and longer it will take.
Seriously, you need to read through the the “Beginners” stickies. This question comes up on every bodybuilding site ad nauseum; “How do I put on a lot of muscle but remain cut?”
This is the starting point for both gaining mass and losing fat.
3-Keep up a good workout program, increasing your load progressively as you gain weight.
3-Increase your calories by 100 per day for two or three weeks. See what happens. Look in the mirror. How much fat did you gain? How much weight?
If you look okay, increase your calories by another 100 per day, for two or three weeks. Keep this up until you reach any goal you have. It may take a year, but it’s worth it to keep the fat down.
Are you going to gain some fat? Yes. But it will be minimized.

Those two sentances don’t really go together. Being naturally skinny, even with visable abs, does not make you “cut” it makes you skinny.
Sorry if I had been specific…When I said “now ive been working on weights” I didnt just mean that I just started…it was just like a sentence continuation, like a pause in sentence lol…Sorry for not being clear

No biggie. But now you can see how easily your posts will get picked apart on here.
if you expect to stay CUT and get BIG expect a LONG LONG LONG slow process. hell its slow when you accept fat and do it. years. not accepting it and doing it decades LOL but sure it can be done
keep on keepin on, couple lbs a year, just like the others said eat clean increase k/cals slowly and dont let it get out of hand.

What else do we have to do? :)
Who is doing this at all? Who, out of all of the people training in gyms everywhere, is just getting HUGE without ever gaining any extra body fat?
Some may not bulk up as much as others, but I just don’t see any of these people who look significantly different from year to year who are approaching their training that way. Where are the real world examples of people who train like that and gain 50lbs of muscle or more?
