Getting a Head Start: Pre 2010

So in an effort to avoid being a cliche, I’ve decided to put my ass kicking boots on before January. Now before you ask, where have you been all of 2009? Let me just say this. I started my year off with severe contusions on every tendon/ligament in my right knee. Suffice it to say my grappling match didn’t go well. And that was just in practice. This was followed by dumb training and misunderstanding of the routine which led to the winging of my right scapula. Three days before Halloween I went to the hospital to remove my appendix. Somewhere in there I lost my job too.

Putting aside my excuses I have decided to get back in the grove, and starting bright and early tomorrow I’m hitting the weights. I’m here to gain muscle mass and strength. No little, and no less.

I need to re-evaluate but four months ago my lifts were:
Bench 160’s.
Squat 200
Deadlift 310
Shoulder Press 120
Power Clean 100

I weigh 170 right now, and will aspire to be in the golden range of 200-215.

I hope someone will read this and hold me responsible. That is all. Goodnight T-Nation.

Started the all meat diet (2 week phase) with the girlfriend. Though I helped myself to some milk post workout.

Today was heavy rows and Scapular stabilization exercises. I’ll be more specific as the routine becomes more mainstay.

Martial Arts training tomorrow, so no weights.

Eager for leg day on Wednesday.
