I’m thinking two things…
-
So the guy feels shaky, has some sugar, then feels better for an hour. Then gets shaky, has sugar, then feels better for an hour. Geez, someone check him for diabetes.
It’s made from honey!
haha. You should see the shit going down in Olympic lifting gyms sometimes… dude’s can be seen downing tabs of Ibuprofen WITH honey between sets of snatch complexes, squats, etc.
Also I would like to see this guy’s diet… he’s either diabetic as CC stated or does not know how to eat carbs.
It’s no more unusual than some of the stuff I see backstage at bodybuilding contests. Guys drinking straight containers of pancake syrup, spooning down mouthfuls of jelly, even salt packets!

Just made me flash back to “Super Troopers” with the syrup drinking contest, with all the knowledge that is out there for people, it amazes me guys would still resort to those types of methods when there are clearly better ways.
Haha!
Kinda reminds me of debraD who stated that she eats a bowl of ice cream pre workout
I’ve seen the honey thing before, actually done it myself. Works good when you are in a long intense workout session and blood sugar drops. Honey gets in quick so you can finish. Doubt the guy is doing it all day or anything like that.
