George Foreman's Punching Power

I think it’s actually easy to tell.

Holyfield took alot of Tyson’s blow and still beat him.

Holyfield AVOIDED every full blow an aging Foreman through at him. If one of those blasters hit him, he knew the fight would never be his.

Foreman hands down.

Hey, it’s no slam to Tyson or any other fighter. They are what they are - great among the greats.

But George Foreman was a giant killer and the very best of them stayed away from him at all costs. All they could do was try and tire him out.

Joe Frazier was a GREAT champion.

Foreman knocked him out.

As dominant as Tyson was, he never beat another great fighter in his prime by KO.

I remember watching Frazier vs. Foreman. Foreman hit him with a body shot that lifted him up off the ground. I thought he was going to launch him out fo the ring.

In his prime Foreman was a machine. Awesome punching power and his fights were all business. He just came at you until you went down. I don’t remember him being as vocal as he is now but I guess next to Ali that would be tough.

I think Frazier was one of the greats. He did have the physical power of Foreman or Ali but he had great skills and a lot of heart.

Tyson, for his era, was a great fighter. I think Frazier, Foreman and of course Ali would have bested him, Who knows if his quickness would have carried the day.

For my money Ali was still the man. I don’t think he had the God given tools of some other greats but he was the smartest tactician in the ring. Pretty savvy outside the ring too.

In ALL of SPORT…SPEED IS KING.

But Boxing is a Fight. And Tyson, as gifted as he was, a high horsepower machine, lost every “fight” he had. No ifs, ands or buts, Foreman, the bigger man and more durable, with his hard hitting style…would best Tyson.
