Perhaps. Or maybe it’s less known or in a spot where people haven’t been doing that. I’m not up to date on what statues Seattle has and which ones have been vandalized. Still seems odd to be against all this statue destruction and then be mad that this one hasn’t been destroyed or something.
If this is the case and you aren’t sure perhaps this isn’t something you should be posting? Or at least cite your sources?

I haven’t followed this thread too closely but maybe you should consider if all the stuff you seem to be sure about is reality? Details aren’t important because we just want to say what we feel and if someone calls us out on it that’s not important?
Hell they could be erecting statues of Lenin in Seattle for all I know. I don’t live there. They could have put 200 up since last Christmas for all I know. But I’m not just going to say they have been doing it with no evidence and if I did I certainly wouldn’t be offended if someone said can you tell me where you got that from?
That statue of Lenin did get erected, and in Seattle, just not yesterday. So in that sense I’m actually correct. There is also a Black Power Fist statue that the chumps from CHOPS tried to erect a few days ago. They were so lame they couldn’t lift it. Couldn’t find anything else whether they subsequently erected it or not. MLK would be rolling in his grave.
Someone on another forum brought this up. This imbecile, one of the self appointed leaders of the CHAZ or whatever they’re calling it today is demanding services from the municipality they have declared autonomy from. Apparently he is also lying, as one of the shooting victims died pretty quickly and the other was treated and transported to the hospital by volunteer medics on scene.
But even if the victim did bleed out on scene, EMS is not going to respond until the police move in to secure the scene. No police, no EMS. The thugs in the CHAZ who blocked the entry of the police would be the ones with blood on their hands.

I am anti statue. If they get torn down, I don’t think they should be replaced. According to NPR, it costs roughly half a million to make a statue in bronze of a person. Not worth it IMO. We could get a sculpture made of junkyard parts or something else cool for much less money.
I dont really understand WTF Raz is posting about unless its unrelated to the shooting? From what i understand from the folks there, he is only “the leader” in the medias eyes so id suggest taking reports on him with a grain of salt or two.
The victims received the fastest, best possible care they could have. I personally know a couple of the volunteer medics who have done shifts at CHOP (one is EMS the other is an ER nurse, neither were there at this time). Because the CHOP is so small the volunteer medics (all of whom are EMS or nurses and well stocked with supplies) would have arrived literally within a minute or two and begun rendering aid. The victims were then transported to the nearest trauma center by private car. This all happened minutes before an ambulance even arrived, and about 30 minutes before the cops arrived (hence the reason for the cops initially being blocked and chants of “Theyre all gone”).
The other thing is that the CHOP coordinated with SFD and the hospitals like a week ago to rearrange their barriers at designated fire/emergency access points per standard guidelines to ensure swift access for those folks. Their beef is with the SPD, certainly not with SFD or any EMS units. So again, WTF is Raz on about?
I’m pretty sure that is old, from the shootings that occured several days ago. So he’s lying, which I suspected as I had already read about the volunteer medics.
It would seem like a very good idea, since the volunteers are EMTs and nurses to have communications established with dispatch, so that the ambulances don’t show up at all if the patients have already been transported. Have ambulances stage close by seems like a great way to draw a very hostile crowd, CHAZ or no CHAZ.
According to Wikipedia it’s on a “prominent street corner”, and if people wanted to tear it down they would find it. It’s well known enough that it has a Wikipedia entry and has right wingers talking about it.

No shit, I never said it was built in the USA. Its a real authentic communist sculpture from Europe, made by genuine communists, who got rid of it as soon as communism fell in Europe. as a work of art its very well done. You can appreciate a work of art, and at the same time distance yourself from the person depicted.

What’s a statue ever done to you? 
Unless there are multiple copies of a bronze, cast statue, you can’t actually replace it even if you wanted to, and money was no object. A replacement would be a different work of art, by a different author, and probably not as good.
Whilst sculptures made from junk can be pretty cool, I haven’t seen one that remotely approaches the artistry or coolness of a sculpture made by someone with formal artistic talent.
Not sure you want to keep doubling down on these things.
