It has to be said, he was roasted pretty mercilessly (but also hilariously)…but one thing I appreciated about him was his ability to laugh at himself and take criticism in stride. Certainly on the “get a beer with” list regardless of policy choices. Not that it will ever happen mind you!

I’m not ashamed of what I did to get in trouble. The magistrate was cool about it when he heard the details and I took my punishment, which was pretty minor, a good behaviour bond, which I finished without incident.
I never looted rioted, or put someone in hospital like the lovely fella’s you want to go into bat for, so put that into perspective.

Im giving ya shit. I spent 14 hours on duty yesterday battling rioters. 7 hours of sustained fighting. 4 of our guys were shot. Dave was killed. A Statey took a round in his Tac helmet. Total shit show.
