George Floyd Riots

And here is the latest Democratic/ Marxist Governor showing clear leadership through his wisdom and intelligence.

Gov. Tony Evers on Sunday night condemned the shooting of the man, who he identified as Jacob Blake, saying in a statement that “while we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

Way to go, you fucking asshole.

In case anyone would like to see the video before making judgments on the police shooting of Jacob Blake (its not graphic):

Looks bad, but, there may have been a gun in the car. In any event, there are statements he could have made, full investigations and criminal charges against the officers, etc, that wouldn’t have been as blatantly inflammatory.

Whether or not the shooting was justified, these politicians are scum. The cops and the politicians are on the same side although some politicians would want people to believe they aren’t.

Isnt there usually a pretty immediate press release from the PD if a gun is found at the scene? If the Kenosha PD is just sitting on that information and letting the false narrative spread that Jacob Blake was unarmed, that is pretty irresponsible. And if there was no gun, then this is a prime example a bad police shooting.

As a public servant, the Govenor should not be stirring up anger and division. That’s pretty fundamental. “Mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement” is as inflammatory as you get.

Officer knocked unconscious by a brick(?).

Armed man confronting SWAT (?)

Maybe an english major can step in here and clarify haha, but i do not think that is what the following statement means. Seems like a factual statement to me.

what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country

Also, good news. I saw a few reports that Mr. Blake is now in stable condition. Pretty incredible after having been shot so many times in (i assume) the torso.

Subjective.

Ain’t Neo-Marxism great.

Good point.

that said, i certainly would subjectively describe the killing of george floyd as merciless. So, i would agree very much with that subjective description.

I’d have no problem with someone saying the Floyd killing as merciless, but to ascribe that term to this incident isn’t warranted. They rendered aid immediately, got him to a hospital and he’s going to live. Was is bad police work? I don’t know. Let’s wait for the investigation. But the Gov’s statement is beyond stupid and inflammatory, as well as subjective.

On another note, unlike the George Floyd killing, this guy like so many others would have been OK had he simply done what the police told him to do. But we won’t hear anybody say that in the media.

The real issue with the statement is that it has black man and person as mutually exclusive items. Also, I don’t see why one would capitalize the adjective black.

It’s a new thing in writing. Capitalize everything and anything that refers to race, nationality or ethnicity. Even if it’s an adjective.

Lololol. Wish I had time.

It will also use the term “youths” when referring to a group of Black minors who commit a crime. It will use “teen” even when the teen is also an adult when it’s a Black who is 18 or 19 who has committed a crime. This will especially be the case for Black on White crime.

Watching the video, combined with the Kenosha PD not announcing a gun was found (as is typical if there was a gun IME reading these stories) paints a pretty damning picture currently. Personally, ill give it until an official statement is released by the Kenosha PD to make up my mind… but that statement needs to come out very soon or the KPD is not doing their job.

LOL at that!
