General concensus on Mercola?

I’ve read a lot on his site, and I also read the interview with him here on T-Mag, and I was wondering what everyone thought about his ideas.

He doesn’t seem to know much at all in regards to training, but one would think that his health ideas (some seem wacky) could definitely be applied to training.

From the information given on his site and from some information here on the forums, I’m liking the idea of using coconut oil for my cutting phase.

Has anyone here encorporated any of his ideas into their training? If so, what were your results?

thanx

I read his newsletter and he’s an interesting guy with quite a few good ideas and quite a few ideas I’m not sure of and I few I just don’t agree with. I read a wide range of health and fitness information and use the whole to formulate my own ideas on fitness and health. One of his main views that I agree with is not eating feedlot beef. I live in cattle country and feedlots are disgusting and if you see all the stuff they pump into the cattle you eat it’d make you think twice. Seems Opra wasn’t all wrong. I still eat lots of beef but I will buy a grass fed animal as soon as the cash allows.
His view that eating the same food everyday will cause you to be allergic to it, I think is crazy unless proved otherwise. And his view on raw eggs being safe, well this is only from personal experience but I’ve eaten raw eggs for 30 years with out ever once getting sick. Thats thousands of eggs. My football coach in high school had me mix eggs in a homemade protien drink and I’ve done it ever since with no disease or digestion problems.
