Nobody liked Phantasy Star for the Sega Genesis? That was a cool game.
My best friend had his firmware lockup on his PS3
If that counts for anything.

My homeboy used to play Phantasy Star II. Play was the wrong word to use. He used to be possessed by Phantasy Star II. After he bought the game he went missing for two weeks. The only time we saw him was when he came outside in his PJ’s and house robe with the instruction booklet in his hand to ramble about some chick name Nei and some planet exploding. He would then get quiet for about ten minutes then walk back to his house. It was dark times indeed.

O I played them but CT was my first love(so to speek) I would love to see them do a remake of it like they are doing with FFVII…Man that would be great!
They’re remaking FFVII? Seriously? When is this wonderous event occuring? When’s it being released? What console must I buy to play it? How can I explain to my friends and family that I’m putting them aside for possibly the greatest game ever created? Will I lose my job for calling in sick for a week so I can play it? Dammit! I need answers!
Im sry for that!! It was mistaken, It was just a demo…but but GD they should remake it!
Here is the Demo…

I think I just died a little bit inside.
What do you guys think of the upcoming title, Legendary? Anyone hear about it?
You can’t have a conversation about difficult moments in gaming without mentioning Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Battle Toads, the old Ninja Gaiden games, etc etc. There are tough games now, but it’ll just never be as bad as it was in the “no save game” era =p

Looks like it could be decent. I’m not really familiar with the developer though, so it could turn out like Dark Sector. Okay, but not worth more than $20-$30.
Question-
How the hell could they even do a Wonder Woman movie today without it being a comedy? She basically walks around in a bathing suit with a giant golden eagle covering her tits. She’s like a super strong magical stripper.
Is a movie about the strongest woman on Earth even plausible?

Yeah, that was my sentiment exactly.
You guys have luck with any ‘bargain bin’ titles? Anything that was so cheap you had to pick up, despite not knowing much about the game, and was pleasantly surprised at how fun the game was?

I’m not sure it would ever work as a stand alone movie. I think I would have a hard time taking it seriously. Considering the campiness of the original TV show, I agree that it would have to be a comedy.
I do think she works as part of the JLA movie though.
Last I checked, Megan Gale, was still attached to the role of Wonder Woman for the upcoming JLA movie. Originally, the role has been offered to Jessica Biel, but she turned it down.

I got the original and its sequels on my PSP, very addictive. I like the retro feel of the gameplay and graphics. You really do feel like your sucked into another world lol.
The PSP version i have says that they are remaking the game and possibly a film will come out.

I would go see a movie with Megan in it…you know, for support.
I think they would have to change her costume to make this work at all. Otherwise, the theater will just be filled with guys with big smiles on their faces who can’t stand up to leave until after the credits roll.

A few good pornos have been made. I can probably put up a rapidshare or megaupload link to one if your in need lol.
Been playing Guitar Hero World Tour ALL WEEKEND!! I picked it up at midnight on Sat/Sun depending on how you want to look at it and me and my friend played until like 5am. Personally I think its a better game than Rock Band2, some of the songs on hard are easy compared to RB. But the later songs not so insanely hard that I dont have a chance in hell of ever being able to beat them like RB.
My friend is a fairly decent drummer so I let him beat away most of the night into the wee hrs of the morning and when I say beat that is exactly what I mean!! HE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM!! They held up great and look cool too. There were some really good drum parts but this still seams to be a guitar driven game
I play the game for the music and not so much the challenge(but I am better at it than most ppl I have met) and I think as a whole GH has the better music. That being said I can use the GH peripherals with RB and vise-a-versa(except the drums) so I will probably pick up RB2 b/c it does have some songs on there that I do like.

Do you mean you have Phantasy Star and its sequals as ROMs on a Memory Stick that you play off of? Or did they actually come bundled on a UMD disk made specifically for the PSP?
Also, do you know if you can play ROMs in general and what emulators can be used on the PSP?
I just hope the next version of the PSP uses SDHC. Higher capacities are available that what is currently out in the Memory Stick format (at least I think).
Okay, I hate to deter from any ongoing conversations, but anyone who plays Dead Space and doesn’t get the living shit scared out of him is either a liar or my hero.

Then I don’t know how I’ll fair because I gave up on F.E.A.R. because it was too scary.
Got to the office building with the invisible ninjas and that’s all she wrote…

This is something that I have never been able to relate to in video games or movies. The Silent Hills, Resident Evils or any other “Horror” games are fun but not b/c they are scary but b/c most have a good mystery going on in them. Same with moves minus the mystery and add the stupid!
Poltergeist, The Omen or Friday the Thirteenth, Halloween and Elm St. type movies are just stupid to me. Seven and Event Horizon were good movies b/c they had a good story, but most are just retarded and the whole time im just think “No bitch! Not up stairs!” or “Christ! Not in the GD shed!” and if its not that then its a cheep scare where the throw something at the camera and get a “knee jerk” reactions.
I really want to play Dead Space b/c it looks like a good game but it would really have to be something special for me to be scared, and throwing stuff at the camera is not going to do it.

For the 360 I picked up 99 Nights, Crackdown, and Overlord all under $20.
99 Nights is like the Dynasty Warriors stuff. Good for short play and high body counts.
Crackdown is GTA with superpowers.
Overlord is a comedic RPG/Stratgey game where you get to kill Hobbits, Elves, and Unicorns.

Wonder Woman may be one of those characters better left in comics and animated shows/films. Speaking of which:
The treatment of her would have to be spot on to keep the movie from spiraling into a comedy or simple eye candy. Were she portayed as taller than most men, with a rough “Fresh from Themyscira, not taking any shit from men” attitude then it would be hard to laugh at her no matter what she wore. They could also inject a bit of naivete about her costume as seen in the Justice League/JLU cartoon.
Put in the right context and it would be tough to laugh.
