Geek S**T

Quick and to the point, I am at least half geek. Sometimes, like if a new video game comes out that I’ve waited for, I might just turn into 90% geek, but usually I try to balance it out.

I wanted there to be a thread for random Geek Shit that interests me and other geeks the world over just in case I am missing something really bad ass and technologically current.

Just to start:

God Of War Chains of Olympus on PSP in done so well that I really doubt there has EVER been a better hand held game with this level of story and graphics. I thought Tekken on psp was pretty decent until I saw this.

Also, I am going on year 5 with these backpacks http://www.boblbee.com/us/teaser_morebag.asp
and they still hold up like when I first got them. Personally, if a backpack can last for half a decade or more, I consider the steep price tag pretty worth it in the long run.

Here you go Skolnick.

Srry ProX, but really I used to have a thing (not sexual) for Starting Lineup Figures, when I was a kid my room looked like the 40 year old virgins apartment.

Yeah, that’s well over 50% geek. I would dial that back just a bit.

When you’re in geek mode, this is the only news show you need to watch:

I suppose this would be the place to declare my love for Joss Whedon’s Firefly and Alessandro headphones.

An argument could be made for bodybuilding being rather geekish in nature, what with the technical whatnot and specialized gear.

I won’t make it, by the way.

I like the internet, so yea, there ya go. Oh and I own an Xbox 360 and listen to Radiohead. So yea, that’s at least 50%.

My favorite is the half-asian one.

Edit: The Brit is also nice.

I’ll bite my tongue before I expose myself.

Blade: The Series is now out on dvd. Sure, it only made it through most of one season before it was canceled, but by the end, they had actually worked out a few kinks and I liked what it could have been.

PX back in College…

Big time cell phone geek too. Update phones atleast 3 times a year.

I watch AOTS every chance I get.

I liked that network better back when it was ZDTV, though. Anyone remember “The Screen Savers”, or “Call for Help”?

GoW is sooo on my wishlist but it’s not released here in Japan and it costs a small fortune to import  I likes my Tekken though, and WipeOut.

I’m really looking forward to Fallout 3, done by Bethesda who did all the Elder Scrolls games. I have hundreds of hours total in both Morrowind and Oblivion. I would love a Fallout game with that level of freedom to just explore and do whatever you want.

Speaking of Oblivion, there are some vague rumors of a PSP port. Please let it be true…

I played World of Warcraft for like 6 months. That was a year ago, but the stink of geek-dom is still on me.

Oh yeah, geek chat galore: QDB: Random >0 Quotes

(this is my alltime favourite quote: QDB: Quote #111338 )

How is Wipeout?

…and has anyone heard of a movie based on Kratos in GOW?

I hear there is a lot of tittie action in the uncut episodes, tits just for kicks so to speak. I have gone so past geekdom to now be considered an uberdork. If not for my size(intimidation has it’s benefits) I swear people at work would steal my lunch money
