Just for that, RSGZ, I’m going to record the sound of my Audi S5 - when I get it - and email you the MP3…
Sob I’ll PM you my email address. sob
I actually had a look around and the S5 sport retails for about $70,000US over here - temmpting, but I don’t want to spend nearly a years salary on a goddamn car.
Nor am I willing to put myself into debt to pay it off.

You can view regular JPEGS as photos on the PSP, right? If so, I always use demonoid.com to torrent my favorites that I don’t pay for . . . h33t.com is good for comics, as well.
Right. Thanks for the sites, Vash, I’ll check them out soon.
Hm, just went past the cinema today (first time in a year, or so) and noticed “Max Pain, coming soon” starring the dude from the Bourne movies as Max (Mark Wahlberg, wasn’t it? He is supposed to play Max? Whatever… Depends on whether it follows the storyline of the first or second movie, second would be better imo…).
Directed by John Moore.
Also, and this was the horror: “Far Cry”, starring Til(l?) Schweiger (so far, so good)… Directed by Uwe Boll (Oh SHIT).
Didn’t even know that those movies were in the making…
Anybody seen those yet/knows whether they’re any good? The Boll movie will suck, of course, no way around that, but I don’t think I know anything about Moore’s style…

With the DC Universe and Champions MMO (and as soon as I get a new PC, the City of Heroes [and Villains]) coming out, I’m going to be breaking down and buying. My question: are these type of games worth investing in if I plan to spend less than 4 hours a week playing them?
I’ve known people who spent 40+ hours in WoW to “keep up,” and that’s not a life investment I’m looking to make in something not making my rent payment.
City of Heroes has been out for about 5 years now and City of Villains for 3-4 years. Chamions MMO is looking to Launch Spring 09 at the earliest and no launch date has been announced for DC Universe.
City of Heroes/Villains will cost about $20-30 for each version of the game, but NCSoft only charges 1 monthly fee. The monthly fee can range from $10-20 per month depending on payment option. So is it worth paying that much for 4 hours per week? Probably not. You can buy a prepaid game card that’s good for a month to play and decide.

That’s what scares me about any MMO. I don’t think I can invest the time in them anymore. I actually hope the upcoming KOTOR MMO sucks just so I never have to waste any time with it.
Wasn’t that one of original selling points of WoW? Remember how there was this XP bonus for users that didn’t login as frequently? It was supposed to allow you to catch up to your friends that were able to play more often. That really didn’t seem to work out, did it?

May Payne seems to be due for release on November the 14th - I’m a Wahlberg fan (and of the game) so I’ll try check it out.
Well, Boll doesn’t direct that one, so there’s a chance that it’ll turn out ok.
What are you talking about?! Uwe Boll is a GREAT director!

I should pay him a visit and tell him exactly what I think of his movie-making talents, but I guess it’s not worth the petrol and lawsuit afterwards…

Actually, he’d probably be game. Did you hear about how he challenged a bunch of movie critics to boxing matches? He fought five of them and supposedly won them all. Some of the critics said Boll misled them though, as they were led to believe it was a PR stunt, but Boll actually trained for the fight.

We’ll see if he can outbox 288 lbs.
Seriously though, the guy’s kinda cool in his way… And Postal was at least pretty close to the game, somewhat funny.
Browsed some German Far Cry reviews just now, and apparently it’s not that bad of a movie… Hm.
Maybe Boll’s getting better?
Btw, has anyone here seen Outpost? (2007 or 8, dunno, from the UK. Nazi-zombies, supposedly realistic firefights… Kind of an underdog, but people seem to dig it. Was thinking about getting the DVD…)
