Nice machine Tribulus.

I don’t know about Trib having everybody beat though  I was webmaster and head-honcho of one of the first computer hardware enthusiast websites to discuss CPU overclocking online. We are talking way back in 1996 (I closed the site in the fall of 2000).

The site started off as a benchmark list central; as well I discussed in detail my hands-on experiences overclocking everything from CPUs to video card chips to RAM and even ISA buses. It eventually grew to become a pretty complete computer hardware performance optimizing site.

That is pretty geeky. Should I add that I was studying in university to become an engineer at that time? Egads! Geek city

Working as a bike messenger now and for longer than I care to think about has lead me far astray from my geek roots loll

Yeah right  Instead of building my own computers, I’m building bikes… I get VERY geeky about bike parts. You wouldn’t believe. It is like a religion to me. Ridiculous

Im a total goober when it comes to music!!

Currently listening to “Best Hip Hop Songs of the 90s” featuring Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, and MC Hammer.

Sorry, that only qualifies you as a dork. Please try again.

I know a lot about Hostas and Daylilies.

Hey guys, I think I can take my nerdom to almost 100%, if it weren’t for my poor math skills.

First a few things growing up that told other people I was and would continue to be a nerd. Legos. Specifically, any of the dragons and castle themed sets. I didn’t give a crap about a dump truck or a fire truck, I wanted to have my dude weiling a sword and fighting on a dragons back.

Dragons themselves. Favorite mythical creature period. I have watched every dragon movie weather good or bad that I know of as having dragons in it. LOTR trilogy, the hobbit cartoon movie (smog was badass), reign of fire, dragon wars, the neverending story, dragon heart, some of the cheesy sci-fi channel ones, the dragon special on the discovery channel, Beowulf, and many others with cool dragons in them.

Playing computer games, and not just any computer games, but the old dungeons and dragons games where you hack your way through dungeons in a very very early 3d based game.

I watch the science channel, especially when there is a special on about the end of the world by way of (insert cool global dissaster), I have also been designing in my head a geothermal powered underground village that would be entirely self sufficient should the surface of the planet be turned into dust by a comet or asteroid impact. Complete with crops and animals and lights and computer networks to store mankinds information, all run by way of geothermal electrical generators. All this happens thousands of feet underground. If anyone wants in, I think we could get by without paying taxes.

What site? I’d be shocked if I didn’t know it and you’re right nobody has everybody beat, at least not for very long. The xtremesysytems guys ruled the roost or a while there. Oppainter, MrIcee, and the very frightening Macci of Finland who pioneered cascaded, liquid nitrogen, vapor exchange cooling systems.

I will say I’ll go toe to toe with anybody when it comes to wringing every last drop of horsepower out of whatever machine is in front of me.

I have a love/hate thing with AS. Why they play Inuyasha all the fucking time is beyond me. I think I’ve seen the whole series 10 times over now. But when it comes to Anime, they really have their hands tied with censorship and what not. Anyone watching Black Lagoon on Starz? That is some cool shit.

I don’t watch Anime much, but AS did turn me on to Cowboy Beebop and Full Metal Alchemist. I don’t have the patience to wait to tune in next time, so if I see a little bit of Anime I like on AS I put the series DVDs in my Netflix que.

Anybody else like Perfect Hair forever? It was often retarded but the best Anime spoof ever made.

*Edited for clarity.[/quote]

Cowboy Bebop is the shit. I think my Netflix queue is in the 200s now. I only caught Desert Punk for the last few episodes or so so I’m going to start those from the beginning after I finish Soltie Rey(which isn’t bad). Desert Punk is boob fetish Anime to the max.(well, not counting flat out Anime porn)

And yes, Ninja Warrior is killer. Forgot about that one. Do they play star trek anymore with out the dumbasses chatting at the bottom of the screen? Whoever thought of that idea?
