I want to see the Black Panther comics made into a movie. Does anyone remember the Christopher Priest series through Marvel comics?
I also love 2000AD comics.
On computer games does anyone play Diablo 2, Starcraft or Age of Empires 3? All very good games. I think I will buy God of War now seeing as Professor X keep’s going on about how excellent it is.
Played all the GoW games, and Devil May Cry 1-3. Watched Avatar: Last Airbender, Watched some anime called berserk (best evar).
Learned to build my own PC. Tried a laptop, not as easy. Play WoW still ( World of Warcraft )
Constantly visit sourceforge for software

I play d2 occasionally on east.
I was fucking set on d2 and then last summer I forgot to log in to keep my characters. I had a level 82 Barbarian named “I_BANG_FAT_CHICKS”.
I tried starting over but I had so much time invested in item runs it would have taken me forever to get all that shit back.

On another geek note, I can’t tell you how many times I have watched the Ironman trailer on youtube and sat there drooling in nerd euphoria. I always loved Batman, The Punisher, and Ironman because they were “normal” people who became superheros through ingenuity and non-supernatural based power. Only a geek could justify to himself that building a metal suit that flies is possible while a man from Krypton presents too many scienitific problems.
LOL. I’ve been doing the same damn thing with that HD trailer for The Dark Knight.

I used to play D2 LOD every night before I began working out. I had mad characters. My best was a pladin level 86 did 12k damage. Got pissed one day and gave all my gear away. Bad mistake. Installed the game again a week ago. My acct name is austinbicep, lol if anyone is playing hit me up.
I practically live on 4chan. Spent a lot of time on LUE before I was banned.
About half the books I own are graphic novels and comic books; any publisher and indie you’d care to name. I have the complete run of the Gotrek & Felix Warhammer novels, paperback originals (awesome pulp series, btw, loads of action. Highly recommended for the T-man that doesn’t normally dig fantasy). If I haven’t read it, I will soon.
I build computers in my spare time, when I have the money. Although Trib has me beat in that regard.
I’m fairly certain I owned a couple world records for Super Punch-Out! (SNES) back in the day, but I never bothered to submit it to Twin Galaxies.
I haven’t bought a CD in two years. I still buy movies because I don’t my ISP to get wise. God help Hollywood if I ever get access to a T1 line.
My #1 interest right now is indie games, however. Two favorites are Krieger and N

If you play east, add *NoLeafClover47, I can maybe hook you up. I just started again and all my mules expired so I’m poorish again.
I gotta trade my d2pk gear for east gear.
add me o your flist austinbicep
I won’t be on much at all until I trade my d2pk shit though. That realm went to shi and it’s no better then east now.

i’m forgetting how to add someone, is it /fa? haven’t played in awhile
I liked that network better back when it was ZDTV, though. Anyone remember “The Screen Savers”, or “Call for Help”?
Man, apparently I’m the only here who does. It always seemed to me like Leo Lapore (sp?) would be the biggest asshole on the planet off camera. I’ve got nothing to base that opinion on or any evidence of it, but he just seemed like an asshole to me.
ZDTV got lost in the shuffle a few years ago, and I haven’t had it or G4 for a while now.

I have a love/hate thing with AS. Why they play Inuyasha all the fucking time is beyond me. I think I’ve seen the whole series 10 times over now. But when it comes to Anime, they really have their hands tied with censorship and what not. Anyone watching Black Lagoon on Starz? That is some cool shit.
I don’t watch Anime much, but AS did turn me on to Cowboy Beebop and Full Metal Alchemist. I don’t have the patience to wait to tune in next time, so if I see a little bit of Anime I like on AS I put the series DVDs in my Netflix que.
Anybody else like Perfect Hair forever? It was often retarded but the best Anime spoof ever made.
But i do have to agree. G4 has sold out now. I used to watch X-Play when all they had was brutal reviews (my favorite reviews were the ones of the bad games), but now…
Yeah, I’d say I qualify as a geek. Here’s the evidence for your evaluation:
I’ve been a PC fanatic since I was a kid. The first ones I played were the original Dark Forces and X-wing vs. Tie Fighter. Played all the geek titles: Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, Doom, WOW, Black and White, the list goes on).
When my friends and I go out to bars, we start arguing about the chemical reactions which create the fun effects of different mixed drinks.
I used to read textbooks for fun…I still do from time to time.
I’ve watched all the special features from all three “Lord of the Rings” special edition movies multiple times.
I would rather sit at home with a book than go to a dance club.
