Does anyone know how to add a ringtone to your phone from your computer?

What’s the carrier, and model you your phone?

Cingular…one of the cheapest on the market. Mine doesn’t even take pictures, that’s how cheap it is.

There is a USB port that i would need an adapter for…but is it as easy as simply hooking the phone to a computer and click and drop?

Get your hands on an adapter and plug it in, some of them show up as removeable storage within Windows.

If so, it likely IS as easy as click and drop, albeit the location you need to browse to within the phone’s interface may be a little cryptic.

Thanks. My frat brothers all have their phones going off and I get tired of everyone dancing when they have a call except me.

cries and plays Nas-Hero for comfort

Do it right from the website

http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/ringtones_media/index.jsp
Click on the link for ringtones and send it over as a text. If that doesn’t work pm your number and I’ll make sure you have the correct stuff on your account

Diablo 3 was announced today and the gameplay looks FANTASTIC.

I’m so psyched about this game, that I’m building a new computer just for it.

Sweet! I need to buy a new computer anyway, so between that and Starcraft 2, I have two other good reasons (besides actually needing a new computer. This PC is on its last leg.)[/quote]

I’m torn on SC2. On one hand, it’s going to have a huge community, which means Tons of competition. On the other, I hate sci-fi rts.

Thanks for the link, but it was one I had saved as a music file from iTunes.

I think I need to just find a usb cord that fits. I was trying to see if it could be sent as a message file or something but apparently it can’t.

You could do it just send it as yournumber@mms.att.net but convert it to an mp3 first not an mp4 like itunes

You’d think working five years in cellular I’d have picked up a trick or two

At&t currently. I’ve worked as a manager for several agents that sold T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. I lasted two weeks for T-Mobile because my boss was a douche and got mad I was early for work.

That’s gotta be fun.

I was with RadioShack for five years; we were wireless. Worst part was management being the boss from Dilbert, and the customers being those guys who attend the School for Kids That Don’t Read Good, and Want to Learn to Do Other Stuff Good, Too.

It’s still like that and up until this year it was very lucrative, this year not so much and that’s why it’s time for Kev to get into another sales career. Too bad to 7.50 a month for medical dental and vision is a damn good deal for insurance
