Right… I’ve heard so many good things about Lost Odyssey I figured if I picked it up for cheap I probably wouldn’t be disappointed, so here’s hoping…
As for Dead Space, since I only used the Plasma Cutter, I did my best to upgrade the damage efficiency on that all the way, and then spent the rest of my nodes focusing on the Rig. There’s some parts where you’re definitely going to be wishing you had more air, so make sure to not neglect that aspect. I hardly even upgraded my stasis or kinesis, though a longer stasis period would have been useful a LOT… So it’s up to you, really!
Who Watches The Folks Who Re-Write The Watchmen?
Looks like they are confirming that there will be no Squid-On-Squid action in the upcoming Watchmen movie.
Does Watchmen need a giant squid? Apparently those in charge have decided NO it does not. I’m starting to see why Alan Moore hates Hollywood so much. You would think it a fairly simple concept.
‘Guy A’ writes a kickass story and even illustrates it so there is no doubt about what is going on. ‘Guy B’ figures out a way to make it into one long motion picture. Simple. Beginning Middle End, already done for you. So why do the douchebags keep feeling the need re-write shit.
Second, if they can re-write the whole ending then what stops them from re-writing the other more controversial aspects of the story. Sally Jupiter doesn’t need to be raped to get pregnant. The Comedian can be a good father to his unborn half-breed kid. Dr. Manhatten can be loving and caring husband. Yay. Everybody fucking WINS. Lets all do the happy-happy-fun-time-dance.
I saw that yesterday, debated about throwing it up here. I don’t understand this Dr. Manhattan ending thing at all.
My guess, by changing the ending they plan on shoe-horning Dr Manhattan into a catch all plot device. He will be the apathetic, omnipotent being who rediscovers his humanity. Then tries to destroy the world in order to cause the human race to join hands and sing kum-by-yaa.
