yep the second one was too long and is over hyped becauase someone died after filming it. then we get the turd I mean third film with the clown from 3rd rock from the sun as azreal(he was more jean philip than robin) and that movie fucking dragged, we had a small short bane doing a bad sean connery impression. I stand by my original post we haven’t had a good batman movie since begins and a good superman movie since the two donner one’s.
Hey, it is what it is, I was just suprised is all.

Worst decision since Adam took the apple.

It can work with Affleck. The guy can gain 20-30lbs of muscle and ‘look’ the Batman part (he took Daredevil seriously even though that was a piece of crap so I am sure he is going to go all out for the Batman role). He is handsome enough to ‘look’ the Bruce Wayne part. He has grown tremendously as an actor and producer and if he brings what he did in Argo I can see it working.

Not happy with the choice but, fuck, at least they did not choose another Brit/Aussie or a man-boy like Gosling.
DareDevil was also like 20 years ago though. I don’t see Affleck gaining 30 pounds before filming starts. This is step back towards Batman Returns terriroty. It is supposed to come out in 2015 right? Maybe Goerge Clooney can play Alfred, the age is about right.

It kind of pleases me, because I know that some great Batman potential hasn’t been wasted on this shit swill of a movie idea that’s being slapped together by Snyder (and Goyer?). I don’t know why Affleck would go for this, because he’s smart enough to know he doesn’t fit rightly in the role and this will not go well for anyone involved, I kind of wish they’d picked someone who has no disassociation between the good and the bad.

I kind of wish in an elaborate twist they’d decided to let Affleck direct it and thrown Snyder to the wolves, at least then I’d have a distant glimmer of hope as to it’s future. Not that Affleck would be able to make it work, but at least it wouldn’t be as much of a disaster as this probably will be, and I’d be able to partly enjoy having to watch it.

It’ll probably turn out like Blunt Man and Chronic, which come to think of it, wouldn’t be so bad.

As long as it realises it’s strength in self-parody it could even be pretty funny.

I loved that scene. In just seconds they captured just how much Clark loves, trusts and respects his dad. I came very close to crying.

I liked the movie, didn’t expect too much from it and wasn’t diappointed.

Affleck can work, no one expected Ledger and Ruffalo to be as good as they were. I really hope the Bryan Cranston as Luthor rumours are true.

haha, there’s an idea. DD was only 10 years ago though and with a bit of HGH he can gain that weight just fine. If Jackman can do it so can Affleck. Again, would not even have been on my list of choices but since the decision has been made, I think it might work…

Come on, kev…you have to give it more credit than that.

I am sure the point of that scene was “not showing these people what you can do is more important than my life”…which in one movie had to take a scene something like that in some way to make that statement.

Also, it had to be a pure emotional reason his dad died…because anything physical wouldn’t be a problem for Clark.

Oh, come on, now. That was one of the best parts of TMOS.

Clark had the power to save his father and his dad asked him not to lift one finger to take him out of danger. Imagine how heartbreaking that was for Clark. You’ve got all this strength and you can’t even use it to save someone you love, and you watch them die.

Shit, I’m tearing up thinking about it. slap myself Get hold of yourself, Bitch!!

Want to roast marshmallows?

well there goes my hopes for an invaders cameo in captain America or namor showing up in avengers

GTA V soundtrack leaked so far - is it sad I’m more excited for the soundtrack than the actual game? I’m really hoping the players have “Mp3” players that allow the radio to be played even when not in a car.
