I actually liked the new Superman movie.

It lacked heart…but they did well at making a comeback I would pay to see the sequel to.

You only liked Begins of the Trilogy?

Batman begins and the sequel (which was better) were great.

The new Superman movie was done “ok” with a ton of area to improve upon in later stories.

Their biggest hurdle was making a new actor fit that role…and have people accept it as legit after a few fuck ups.

They did that…and yeah, I can’t wait to see a sequel.

I think Superman will do better on dvd also.

Am I the only one who liked the new Superman?

Nards hated it.

I liked it a lot…but I also saw areas I would like cleaned up.

It needed to be three hours or two movies to be perfect.

I like the guy they chose to play him. he looks the part and can act.

This was by no means a fuck up…like that last movie was…which for some reason got more love from critics.

Err… yeah, I liked it. I love the badass female warriors. Hot!

Can’t believe I shed a few tears when Clark’s dad (Kevin Costner)… well you know… passed… that was truly heartbreaking.

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ll love it I’m sure. Hell I like Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern so…

I also disliked it, I didn’t hate it, it just seemed stale, I lack hope for Snyder’s future superhero ventures.

yep the second one was too long and is over hyped becauase someone died after filming it. then we get the turd I mean third film with the clown from 3rd rock from the sun as azreal(he was more jean philip than robin) and that movie fucking dragged, we had a small short bane doing a bad sean connery impression. I stand by my original post we haven’t had a good batman movie since begins and a good superman movie since the two donner one’s.

well that’s a bombshell

All right, well, I give up properly now.

It can work with Affleck. The guy can gain 20-30lbs of muscle and ‘look’ the Batman part (he took Daredevil seriously even though that was a piece of crap so I am sure he is going to go all out for the Batman role). He is handsome enough to ‘look’ the Bruce Wayne part. He has grown tremendously as an actor and producer and if he brings what he did in Argo I can see it working.

Not happy with the choice but, fuck, at least they did not choose another Brit/Aussie or a man-boy like Gosling.

I think he can pull off the “look” but, I am curious to see how he sounds as batman.

Hopefully he is NOT going to copy that raspy unintelligible voice

Clark and Superman sound the same too. There is really no need for a different voice.
