To be real…it isn’t so much that it might be “impossible”…but for them to look that stylized and for the helmets to fit THAT well can only happen in a movie.

I had my gear put together tight when I rode my motorcycle…but anyone who has put time and money into it can tell you that getting a helmet that fit that close to your head so as to not look like an astronaut’s helmet is pretty damn hard to do.

X2

Especially open face helmets. The great Kazoo comes to mind.

Once in a while just to torture myself I look up how much Velentino Rossi lids are going for. $1500!!!

Give my left nut for one.

Hey man change of subject are you getting this? I have very, very few hours much anymore to play, and I also sent you a PM.[/quote]

Got my copy. And as soon as I find some time, I’ll be ready to rumble.

Not in a rush. It’s just a female version of uncharted with smaller boobs Lara Croft. I know some die-hard TR fans who aren’t really impressed with this one.

Man, if I can find some down time in the constant action movie that is my life right now, hell yeah.

Then I’ll get it. I haven;t checked pm’s. I will try today. I probably won’t even be online til next week.

Nope, I didn’t get that pm. D.

Tomb Raider turned out a hell of a lot better than early development had me believe.

I thought we’d be thrown this salty hyped up bullshit reboot to a good franchise and be expected to like it for it’s history. But I really love how it turned out, the action sequences are incredible and I love how they made Lara seem overwhelmingly vulnerable in the face of crazy axemen and explosions.

The writing is really good too, I expected a ton of cheesy one-liners or cartoony villain lines but that’s practically non-existent. You get to see the character’s emotions and personality quirks develop brilliantly with each passing cut-scene and Lara slowly harden over time to take on the increasing risk of her environments.

The gunplay is extremely satisfying and the movement mechanics are often very forgiving for slight mistakes you may happen to make. The upgrade system is well done and the locales are visibly incredible.
The final build is hugely welcoming and I recommend anyone who’s a fan of Tomb Raider to pick it up, it is a great addition to the franchise.

Loading game as we speak.

Played it for a couple of hours today and the game is simply fucking awesome.

It definitely feels like Farcry and Uncharted but on the darker side.

Have you hit the death animation in the river slide scene yet? Right before the favela place?

That shit is grim, there’s a few really great death animations hidden around in there.

SPOILER!!!

Hahahahaha!!!

No, not there yet. I’m still enjoying the Mountain temple. Been busy exploring, collecting food and loot, and fighting wolves. Oh and drowning.

I was trying to hold back gameplay spoilers, I’m not very good at that :'[

But seriously, die there on purpose, at least once, it’s one of the most awesome parts.

Damn the drowning, how obnoxious are those quick time events when you make a super long jump and barely hold on to something, I died a couple times just not paying attention to those.

I kind of wish they’d taken the hunting further, who doesn’t want a couple recurring scenes watching Lara reluctantly eat some raw boar meat?

The mountain temple was sweet, the locations get really damn good, especially when they’re all on fire and falling apart and shit, looks great.

Damn, you spoiler! Now you’re making me feel like playing the game again, ehehehe.

I’m not a big fan of QTE. I find them irksome and they always do my head in. I died over and over again fighting some wolves 'cos I had no idea what the fuck I was supposed to do. Didn’t rage quit though, lol. And hell, fucking yeah, the death were pretty gruesome. Gory, just as I like it

Check out this badass GTA mod.

Who’s got it installed?

Oh man I just looked them up, the Hitman Absolution one is fabulous. If he plays PS3 games I’d love to see him cover the new God Of War, that could be hilarious.

Starcraft time again! As a zerg player, I’m especially excited to get back into it. Anybody on here gonna get competitive on the ladder? I was diamond 1v1 back when I played WoL. HoTS will probably be 100% different than when I last played though.

Just got Tomb Raider. I’ll try to play it tonight.
