I would actually prefer they didn’t touch Black Panther unless they were willing to make that fairly BIG BUDGET. How else could you approach a character who is more wealthy than Batman, has his own country that is more advanced than any city in the world, while also being right in the middle of Africa with all of the issues going on now.

That would have to be a Spielberg project.[/quote]

There is the “Black Panther: Animated Series” that will be airing on BET this year. Djimon Hounsou, Kerry Washington, and Alfre Woodard will be the voice talent. John Romita, Jr. is heading up the art. Season one will be 8 episodes.

I was with you until “BET”. Jesus. It would be better on Cartoon Network than BET. You didn’t see Boondocks go to BET.

Besides, in the comics T’Challa is sorta incapacitated at the moment. His temporary replacement is a little more top heavy and Marvel may want to clear the air a bit before making a live action film.

Is that why there are no new episodes of Boondocks on Cartoon Network? Pretty bad I take it? With the exception of the Venture Brothers I don’t bother with Adult Swim anymore.

I’m half vampire. I sleep during the day.

Actually, I’m working the grave yard shift Midnight to Noon.

I don’t know. BET has failed me since 2000. And to put Black Panther on that channel now? Hell no.

Plus they tooK Rap City off the air! Professor X, they canceled Rap City!

Heh. I was pissed when Bruce Bruce stopped hosting Comic View, and the show went downhill from there.

I saw that at Wal-Mart but didn’t get it because it looked like it wasn’t even really animated.

AV, if he is talking about what I think he’s talking about, it wasn’t the Black Freighter.

I was going to get the Black Freighter, but I’m just waiting for the The Watchmen DVD this summer with that all edited back into the movie.

I’m not sure what to think about that. I actually wish I knew who was right in that because it sucks to change that character between sequels. He played Rhody just fine and would have been a more appropriate choice in my opinion for War Machine if for no other reason than he is more filled out and “athletic looking” than Cheedle(sp?).

The one with the “Black Freighter” and the mockumentary “Beyond the Mask” (or something like that).
