Its tough seeing the lil bastards getting killed after you got them all decked out with armor and axes. My favorite was one little brown sportin’ the dwarf king’s crown and axe. He got swallowed up by a big ole slug.
I always make sure that I outnumber my opponents. I never run to battle unless I have at least 10 browns with me.
And I hate it when my infantry die due to my shitty leadership. I set a wheat field on fire and killed myself and all of my minions. That cuts deep.
That hurts. I know the feeling.
I was being as evil a bastard as possible, and decided to feed some captured elves to the slugs. Accidentally fed my minions to them too. Rest in pieces lil fellas.

Well that’s the thing - I’m completely green when it comes to this realm. I’m basically looking for inspiration at this point, from components to construction. I have a blank canvas down there.
A buddy of mine who does this sorta stuff for a living tells me I’m looking at about 3 grand canadian for a decent projector, and perhaps half that for a decent screen - sound about right?
I’m not sure what prices are like out there, nor of projectors, but you could buy a decent 46" LCD here for around $1800 canadian. I know for a fact that electronics are cheaper in the US than here, and I would’ve thought that Canada would be similar too.
I have a Sony Bravia which I would recommend as a really nice panel, but other than advice from others, I would go down to a retailer once you have some ideas and check out the picture quality vs price for yourself. You can pick up a decent 7.1 receiver for about $700, which will link up all your devices (TV, PC, Bluray, Console, etc), then all you need is some speakers to go with it.

Anyone see the new Assassins Creed teaser?
Awesome!
That’s one game I really hope they don’t screw up.
It looked like they were hinting that his blade will be implanted into his arm and that he might be able to fly (from the wings on the Vitruvian Man).

Anyone else get Game Informer? They have a huge cover article about it. I just got mine yesterday, but I’m excited to read it.
I will definitely be checking my mail box when I get home in a week or two.

Maybe he’s out for revenge, or maybe he just likes to kill people. In any case, he’s got quite the arsenal to do the job: mechanized wrist blades (as seen in the teaser), as well as an axe, hammer, mace, spear, swords, a “spear axe” and some “smaller blades.” Each weapon has a “special move,” and if you get tired of using your own gear, you can disarm enemies and take their implements, which is neat. So far it sounds great. If I still get to base jump off random towers I’ll be happy.
does anyone know much about the game I am Alive? apparently it’s coming out in a month and I only saw a short preview for it however it didn’t show any gameplay

Never heard of it, but it does look good - and it’s Ubisoft.

I’m pretty sure its been pushed back to Q3 or Q4.
I’ve posted this article before.
Overall, everyone is being pretty tight lipped about it.

I’m pumped as hell about this game… but I’ve got a bad feeling about it. Ubisoft usually delivers fairly well, but I don’t know. The concept and description of the gameplay mechanics I’ve heard sounds too expansive and massive… I think it’s going to end up being a lot more linear than expected, and probably fairly repititious. Anyway, too early to speculate about it, but from the very little informatino I actually have gathered about it, those are some preliminary thoughts I’m getting.
Assassins Creed 2 looks sick! I just looked through my recent issue of Game informer and I am very impressed. Supposedly they have actually key figures from the Renaissance in the game, like Leonardo Da Vinci. Hopefully it is not as repetitive as the first one.
Can you talk about your upcoming role as Luke Cage in the Marvel big screen adaptation of that property? Are you looking to jump directly into another franchise here?
Tyrese Gibson: I am hoping to be a part of it. I met with Avi Arad a while ago about the project. Right now they are just starting to tweak the script. I will definitely be the first one to put my eyes on it. And we will figure out what happens after that.
How do you hope to see the character of Luke Cage evolve on screen? Do you have any ideas about what you want to bring to the project?
Tyrese Gibson: I really can’t speak on it too much. It is something that I am really exciting about potentially being a part of.

In the newer comics, Luke Cage is one of the Avengers now right alongside Iron Man. I am wondering if they have pushed this back so far because of the plans surrounding the upcoming movies? I am not sure it would make since to make that character a stand-alone movie when they are linked in the comics.
If they stick with his current personality, I’ll be pleased.
And I will also demand a good, non-cheesy plot, with a lead in to an equally cheeseless Iron Fist movie about the Tournament in Heaven.
Then, wealth will be mandatory, disease and poverty and starvation eliminated, and Joe “Ash was decent, I suck at my current job” Ques-a-duh will be bull-raped by a penguin.
They need more team movies and introduce heroes simultaneously. Personally I would like to see a Heroes For Hire movie, Coleen Wing and Misty Knight can show up and help out. Mix in the crime noir style used in the current run of The Immortal Iron Fist, a few hundred Hydra assassins, shadowy slums, and pristine skyscrapers and you will have one sweet movie.

They’ll make a Luke Cage movie, but not Black Panther. Mother fucker wore a tiara and a yellow blouse. His catchphrase was “Sweet Christmas”.

I would actually prefer they didn’t touch Black Panther unless they were willing to make that fairly BIG BUDGET. How else could you approach a character who is more wealthy than Batman, has his own country that is more advanced than any city in the world, while also being right in the middle of Africa with all of the issues going on now.
