Fuckin’ XBox is freezing. Offline, online, in menu, in game, from HDD, from disc.
Will get some of that silver-whatever coolant and apply to the GPU or CPU heatsink tomorrow.
Fuckity mick fuck fuck.
Just got in overlord: raising hell, too.
Fuckers.
I love that game. Can’t wait for the sequel.
Sorry to hear about your XBOX though. I used some Arctic Silver on my CPU/Heatsink a while back when my PC was overheating frequently. It hasn’t happened a single time since then. Works pretty well in my experience.
Overlord is the shizzle. I just wish I didn’t have to sacrifice minions to up my stats. I love my brown infantry.

I know! I hated it when my brown minions would die. Especially when they were equipped well. I never got the Ultimate Horde achievement though.

1.Browns (INFANTRY!!!)
2.Greens (Assassins)
3.Blues(Medics, Swimmers, and Magic resistant)
4.Reds(Unless I need fire to be extinguished, I don’t use them.)
Perhaps this is the right thread to ask people to show off their projector/screen setups, NeelyDan’s thinking of going full home theatre in the new basement.

AV has a nice setup.
I posted mine in the firs Geek S**t thread, but it’s not much to look at yet.

Has anyone here completed Prince of Persia? I’m not sure if I can finish this game or not. The fights in this game are incredibly boring and repetitive, plus I don’t want to fuck with all these light seeds just to open up the last third of the game.
It looks incredible though, and as far as platforming goes it’s the best I’ve played this gen. I have a lot of fun with the platforming since it’s not super easy (Uncharted) or too hard (Tomb Raider), but the fights suck so bad to the point I want to smash the disc into tiny little pieces.
Which PoP? You mean the latest one for 360? Not sure if it came out for PS3.
Sands of Time was my favorite one. I think that was the second in the series. Warrior Within was horrible.
This last one SUCKED. I sold it back. That has to be the most repetitive game made in the last 10 years. It isn’t even challenging. It looks great, but the action, puzzles and game challenges are so basic. Every level is basically the same as the last. Free roaming is limited in that regard because you aren’t exploring any new places.
I wasted about 4 hours of my life on that game expecting it to get better. It didn’t.

What do you have in mind?
Well that’s the thing - I’m completely green when it comes to this realm. I’m basically looking for inspiration at this point, from components to construction. I have a blank canvas down there.
A buddy of mine who does this sorta stuff for a living tells me I’m looking at about 3 grand canadian for a decent projector, and perhaps half that for a decent screen - sound about right?

Ultimate horde is pretty easy to get, just takes time. I used 50 Browns and continuously ransacked the desert raider camp. After a few raids dismiss a few Browns until the upgrade stat reads 100%. Set that group at a way point, and pull all of you dismissed minions out of the spawn pit. Raid the camp a few more times.
Rinse and repeat.
Its tough seeing the lil bastards getting killed after you got them all decked out with armor and axes. My favorite was one little brown sportin’ the dwarf king’s crown and axe. He got swallowed up by a big ole slug.

I always make sure that I outnumber my opponents. I never run to battle unless I have at least 10 browns with me.
And I hate it when my infantry die due to my shitty leadership. I set a wheat field on fire and killed myself and all of my minions. That cuts deep.

Thanks. I’ve been thinking about playing Overlord again and trying to get some of those achievements, so I’ll give that a shot.
