I got a new laptop last week to replace my old HP. I had to, since I found out the range I happen to own (DV6000) has a technical fault in it’s build which will cause it to fail after a while. I had it fixed twice already and thought I’d better get rid of it before it happens again.
So I picked up a HP DV5 for £400 (~$580) as a refurb with a year warranty. It’s a really good looking laptop and for the price is packed with features:
If anyone is in the market for a good but pretty cheap laptop, I’d suggest having a look at one of these. The only drawback is since it’s “Made for Vista”, HP doesn’t have support for XP with it’s drivers.

A part of me dies everytime they come out with a Punisher movie.
I keep thinking, “Maybe this time they’ll do it justice”.
On an unrelated note, has anyone else downloaded the extra content for Fallout 3 yet?
The first one is nothing great, but gives up some great gear. Second one is out tomorrow.
They need to keep the guy who just played Frank Castle…DESTROY EVERYONE ELSE INCLUDING THE DIRECTOR…and hire someone who can write a script like The Dark Knight.
I am not against women directors, but I do believe that they should stay away from action movies, especially ones that require this much gore.
I do give her credit though for wanting to make a hard R Punisher movie with decent action and gore. I read a few interviews with her before the movie was out, and honestly, I was super stoked because of what she had to say; she seemed like she had a good handle on the source material and had a similar vision to my own.
But then it went horribly wrong. I saw it in theaters, so I don’t remember too too much, but I though West’s and his on-screen brother’s performance were cringe-worthy. And like you said, that was definitely the result of some misguided direction.

I give her much credit for every fight scene.
I also want to slap her for all of the shit in between.
So I went to my dads this weekend and my brother was playing WoW: Rise of the Lich King. This was the first time I have seen it played and up until that I had no interest in playing WoW again, its a sickness! Well I have the sickness again, I played a little bit of the Death Knight and was really impressed. So once I get my computer running I afraid I’ll turn into a Troll that doesn’t want to come out of its cave for like a week.

Just about every customer I can ever recall buying WoW game cards / games in my lines looked like meth addicts, zombies, fat emos, or Holocaust victims. Sad thing is that I’m not really exaggerating.
Believe me, I am a life-long hardcore video-game nerd, but you’re right. WoW is (except for 99% of the Wii) the worst mass-bought thing to ever happen to video games.

It dragged me back in too. I had no problems not playing anymore and they had to go and add Death Knights. I was an old school EQ Shadowknight so I had to try it. It is a damn good expansion. But I had to quit playing because I just don’t have time for MMOs anymore.

It doesn’t but if you search around enough you can find them to make it work. It is a pain in the ass though.

And if Max Payne 3 is even close to as good as the first two I might have to take some vacation days when it comes out.
Motherfuck. Am I the only person who didn’t play these games because they looked like gigantic turds? Anyone I’ve talked to always say they were pretty badass… I don’t know. Maybe I should’ve played them, but from what I saw, niether one looked very fun.
