I remember at the end of the game I felt like a dumbass… it should’ve been obvious from the get-go that he was that masked fuck.
Thinking back, I still think the original Xbox Ninja Gaiden games (including Black) were definitely harder than NGII. Think back to Alma’s second form… Spirit Doku… those fucking Ghost Fish… how about that lava demon that you floated around him on the platform? That game was crazy hard on Mentor or higher.

That, for me, was probably Vergil from Devil May Cry 3. Christ on “Son of Shparta” mode is damn near impossible.

I want to agree, but I’m a much better player today than I was 3-4 years ago. Plus, Ninja Gaiden was one of the first games I played after buying the Xbox. I wander if NG II is easier because I’m a better player, and I practiced a bit on DMC 4

I’ve head similar stories from long time DMC fans, unfortunately DMC 4 is the only one I have played.

Ya, I Love Deval May Cry. I think it is one of the most under rated frachises every.

If the characters weren’t so metrosexual and just flat out retarded, I’d like the series.

Yeah, NGB is still the best of the series. NG2 got rushed out the door so that Microsoft would have a “big name” game to offer opposite Metal Gear Solid 4. Damn you, Solid Snake!
I think there’s a lot more strategy involved in NGB; your health doesn’t regenerate after each battle and the higher difficulties aren’t just hard because you’re being pelted by projectiles all the time. NG2’s combat engine is nothing short of amazing.
Hopefully, they’ll do a Ninja Gaiden 2: Black to address some of the worst problems. Still, with warts and all, it’s the game that sees the most play time in my 360 since I got it.
The Ghost Fish are easy once you figure out the correct flail technique. I used to step back in the 2nd Doku arena 5 or 6 times to “farm” the Ghost Fish for cash. Great fun.

Playing Devil May Cry is like being inside anime, for better or worse. On one hand you get some serious ass kicking battles, and on the other you get crazy japanimation fashion and head scratching soliloquies.
Plus DMC4 brought in some of the best voice actors in the business, Gaara of the Desert as Sanctus equals awesome. Speaking of which anyone notice that Voice actors seem way cooler than regular actors? They’re all martial artist, stunt men/women, and power rangers.
HULK VS WOLVERINE…FUCKING ROCKS!! Oh shit, I cannot begin to tell you guys how crazy it is. It earns it’s PG-13 rating in like the first ten minutes. I am really surprised it didn’t get a R rating. This isn’t cartoon Wolverine or Movie Wolverine where he only uses his claws on guns or robots. He is a stabbin’ and a clawing everything that moves the entire movie. With copious amounts of blood to boot. Hulk is scary and intimidating as always but Wolverine holds his own. He is just as savage as Hulk and gets unhinged when he snaps. If you need some workout inspiration it is here in spades.
I am going to download Hulk vs Thor next and give you guys a report later on. I am definitely going to buy this when it comes out next week. Its a must buy. For any comic fan or a fan of smash em up action.

I didn’t find Hulk Vs Thor as good as Hulk Vs Wolverine (which I loved) but I’ve never really been a huge Thor fan.

You could watch this movie on mute and you will probably like it better.
Ever played the games?
I guess that’s one movie I’m not going to be watching anytime soon…
Do they ever get game-based movies right? I mean, EVER?

I never played the game or knew much about the character. The character in the movie is pretty “shallow” (wife and kid dead…out for revenge). The visual effects are great though. The whole thing is great to look at but the plot and the acting are both weak.

How’s Devil May Cry 4? I played the demo from XBL, and it seemed like an OK game, but left with more of a “meh” feeling that a “wow!” one.[/quote]
Ya I played the Demo to and wasnt impressed. But, having played the first three I new there was to much shit and it wouldnt come across in the demo. But If you like action games you cant go wrong with Devil May Cry. You could pick it up for like $24 used or just go and rent it b/c if you have the time to really sit down and play it you could beat it in 2 or 3 day…1 if thats all you do.

Same here. Watched it Friday night and pretty much hated it. I never played the game or knew anything about the story, so I’m curious if that would have helped as I didn’t feel like the story was deep enough for anyone that wasn’t already familiar with the game.

Oh I almost forgot her. Mila Kunis was terribly miscast in that. Was that supposed to be a Russian accent she was speaking with?
