Underworld 3 - Rise of the Lycans

Coming Soon.

Wait, that looks like Kate Beckinsale but I know she’s not in the third film.

Right?!

But she’s playing the same character? Why did they dump Kate? Money?

Misterhamper as far as shows you can watch, my favorite show of all time is/was Rurouni Kenshin. It?s got some of the most bad ass fights in it, badass Characters, romance and even more badass villains. All this show will make you think and has some great philosophical questions for you to think about.

In a nutshell its about the most badass Samurai that fought during the Tokugawa Revolution, Kenshin Hemora, who vows never to kill again. But b/c of his reputation as The Battousai (The Man Slayer) people want to prove them selves against him or need his help.

Some other good shows to take a look at

Gundam Wing
Gundam Seed
Gundam Seed Destiny
Tri-Gun
Bleach
Afro Samurai
Samurai Champloo

I could keep going

And the best episode of Avatar was the tribute to Mako, hands down.
You were basically raised on the Shit end of the Toonami era.

DBZ, Hokuto No Ken, Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory, Ronin Warriors, Berserk, and Sailor Moo…G.I. Joe…

I read some news on a German site about this being a prequel… Her character doesn’t play a role in there yet due to that. (Didn’t her husband direct the movies or at least was heavily involved?)

As for the Terminator series… I’m all ears/eyes. They’re even being nice and airing it during prime-time here instead of showing it at 22 or 24 like they do with Rome and Dexter respectively… So I can actually watch it on TV instead of having to abuse some semi-legal movie-site lol.

Don’t tell me that J.C. is still a whimp in the series…
Whatever happened to the original JC actor?

Can you beat Kate in full leather?

Mentioning Sailor Moon in the same sentence with Berserk is pushing it, come on now.

In real life, do you think one of the boats would have been blown up…or do you really think people are mostly good under extreme circumstances?

I think one, if not both, of the boats would be be blown up in real life.

I think our society has devolved to such a point that human life - other than your own - is fairly worthless.

I hope I am wrong.
I am thinking the same way, someone would have seen the option to blow up strangers and live.
They would without a doubt choose to live.

Sir, I said G.I. Joe: Real American Heroes. What the hell is Sailor Moon?

Edward Furlong? Shot his load early, does some smaller stuff now, advocates for PETA.

In a June 2006 interview, Wiseman said, “The third film is going to be a prequel. It will be the origin story and we find out things we didn’t know about Lucian; he’ll have a much bigger part in it. It will be about the creation [of the races] and what started the war. It will be a period piece. The movie will also focus for the first time through the Lycans’ point of view.” The director also shared, “In terms of the writing, a lot of the writing has been done. We’ve been developing Underworld 3 for a while. I won’t be directing Underworld 3; I’m just going to be producing and writing.” When asked if Kate Beckinsale would reprise her role as Selene in the prequel, Wiseman said, “It will be in the time period before, but it will overlap into the creation of her as well. We’re in the process of seeing how far we go with that.”[3] The following October, actor Michael Sheen, who portrays Lucian in the film series, expressed interest in being part of the prequel.[4]

Sure. Remove the leather?

Potential spoilers for people who still haven’t seen the previous movies:

Interesting stuff, that German site I read didn’t mention most of it.
I hated how much the lycans sucked in that last big gunfight at the end of the first movie.
I hate all these scenes where one party is suddenly invincible (other side shooting at them full-auto and not hitting one thing) and it’s basically just guys standing there or walking towards each other and firing with everything they have, occasionally someone gets hit as if by accident.
I’d vastly prefer more tactical/“realistic” (note the “”) fights…
I wish hollywood wouldn’t have so many “30 bullets have been fired but most of them seemed to cease to exist after leaving the barrel” kind of scenes…

Then again, during the scene where the lycans slaughter Emilia and her escort (note: do I remember correctly that Emilia was kind of hot, especially armored during the prologue?) the vamps fire and never hit anything either while pointing their guns straight at the lycans from 1m away.

The battles are just so awfully inconsistent there, but I certainly enjoyed the first movie.

Wish they’d make a Vampire: The Masquerade movie franchise…

Yeah, he’s still pretty much a whiny, angst-ridden teen in the series. He’s had a few moments where you think, “Oh okay, he’s going to start being a man finally”, only to have him revert back the following week.

The series doesn’t really focus on him though, more on Sarah. In fact, there has been at least one episode where John’s not in it at all.

As far as Edward Furlong goes, he hadn’t really done much since T2, but I know he had drug problems a while back and was in and out of rehab.

Probably tried to learn how to be more bad-ass and failed.
Oh well.

I’ll def. be watching that series.

If they pull that emo shit with Christian Bale I will walk out of the movie.

This is getting confusing. Kate herself stated that she’s not in because Selene isn’t in there (Prequel).

Does Rhona play a different Char or did you read somewhere that she’s to play Selene?

She doesn’t play Seline. I think Seline would be a little girl at best in a prequel. Her family was eaten by the lead Vampire and the she alone was turned…but that was after the feud had already begun.

Which is why I might burn down the theater if Ironman 2 takes a hit for dumping Terrence Howard.
