The DC animated film Green Lantern: First Flight is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this month.
Not one to rest on their laurels DC is hard at work on the next animated film Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. Basically a massive piece of Krypton is heading towards Earth. Not exactly good news for the Man of Steel, however its great news for the now President of the U.S. Lex Luthor who still has an old score to settle. Batman and Superman team up to stop the meteor, and Lex Luthor uses all the power of the federal government to stop them. This movie will pretty much be the superhero equivalent of that old school yard game “Smear the Queer”. Superman and Btman against everybody else hero and villain alike.
Comic Book Spoiler*************
That was a great read and I look forward to the movie!
In the comic book the asteroid was the mechanism to bring Supergirl back to the DC Universe, so there could be a sequel to this movie in the future.
For those you that were planning on buying The Directors Cut of Watchmen when it comes out on DVD on the 21st, you might want to hold off. The rumored Ultimate Edition/Cut will be coming out during the holidays.
I was planning on buying The Director’s Cut, but now I just plan on renting it until the Ultimate Edition comes out.
But the issue with the Chrome OS (if this is part is true) is that it is almost entirely web based, so that developers can easily make applications based on scripting languages, a la Palm Pre’s webOS (I hope I’m not talking out of my ass on that…don’t think I am).
So, the potentially for malicious code is super high compared to if Chrome were just a plain old OS, or even one based on FreeBSD (which I believe is the most secure BSD).

Never saw it. Sort of bummed about that.
Still haven’t seen Transformers 2 but hoping to go Sunday evening for an IMAX showing.
Interesting. I don’t actually mind him as an actor, wonder what his physique plans are for the movie?
Am I the only one who thinks John Stewart would make a more interesting movie? He comes across as more of soldier.
Damn, Ryan Reynolds would be better cast as Wally West, the Flash.
If it is an origin story, and it will be, it has to be Hal Jordan because everybody has a hard-on for Hal Jordan, especially now that he has daddy issues like Batman. Folks like heroes with childhood baggage. Personally, I wish we could skip the origin stuff and right into a giant galactic battle with whole GL Corps and all six Earth Green Lanterns.
I brought Fight Night Round 4 the other day. Not really impressed. It seems like every single EA sports(and probably other brands) game revolves around starting your career at club/amateur level and rising to a pro and eventually the greatest in the world. As you earn XP you buy skills. This may of been ok a few years ago but they are still doing the EXACT same thing in all their games and really its now boring and repetitive as fuck.

Anyone holding out for a PS3 slim?
I’m considering it, though if the price drops enough on the regular version I’m might just settle for one of those.
Me too, I figure at the very least the price of the original console might drop.
ahh so thats the new addition, at work at the toysales we generally have a ps3 bundle but not this year and when I questioned the store manager about it he said they were bringing out one too succeed it.
