FML. What sorta carryover does that bad boy get you??
My gym just got a mono so I’m REALLY tempted to get some multiply gear. Anyone got recommendations??
Bests;
460x4 belt only
673x1 in a single ply centurion and 2m knee wraps with about 20lb in the tank
Reckon I’d have shot at 800 with some training???
Dude, that is crazy top end strength. I just hit 535x4 in a belt only, and about a month and a half before that it was all i coudl do to hit 655 in briefs and a suit with the straps down[/quote]
Dude, it’s ALL in the core. Seriously, my carryover just went thru the roof as my core got stronger.
The suit’s disgracefully tight as well. Takes 20+ mins to get it on with slippers and circa 620-640 to get depth.
My centurion briefs (most “gangster” equipment I currently own) lets me squat to below parallel with the bar w/ no belt. If I use a belt, I don’t know what it takes to go below parallel, but not much weight I’d bet. I can rock 550-575 with just that and wraps, so I wonder what I’d get out of a tight higher end suit, 650+?
I owned a double ply denim bench shirt from inzer, but never got that bad boy to touch, only get the bar to a 3 board. I had no PLers to train with and it was impossible to train with that sort of equipment.
Hanley, you’re squatting nearly 700 now? Damn I feel weak.
