Finally got a switch about 2 months ago and then finally had the time to get Zelda and play. It’s fucking amazing. Aside from minor frame drops (which irritate the piss out of me), too slow of a running mechanic, and too much open space for an open world game, it’s fucking amazing. If anyone is hesitant about the switch (like I was) go for it. It really is a great system. The only reason we waited so long to get Zelda was because we played Mario Kart everyday online for the first month and a half. NOT TO MENTION YOU CAN PLAY WHILE YOU TAKE A JUICY SHIT
I hesitate for different reasons. My social life, hygiene, and work performance would suffer if I got a gaming system I liked too much.

I’d like to grab one this year even if solely for the Zelda games.
I wish Nintendo would just stop making hardware and become a 3rd party software company already. Would love Mario, Zelda, Smash, etc… on my PS4.

They would lose all new revenue. I like the third party support for the switch (sky rim, doom, etc) but if I want to play those, I’ll get them on PS4. I got the switch for mk8, Zelda, Kirby release next year, NEW METROID!!!, and potential other Nintendo titles. I don’t really care about dropping performance and graphic quality for portability. That’s why I never got a vita. But for Nintendo titles, I like the dock to portable back to dock. It’s rad as shit.

They would make money off their titles like every other third-party company. I don’t know about current gen, but in previous console generations, the companies barely made any money off the console itself.

Yeah I get that. I just mean they need to keep them to sell consoles and handhelds as well as shows and such. If they sold Pokémon to 3rd parties, that would mess up the legacy. I agree as a consumer and wish that Nintendo things were on PS4, but I also wish I could play Bloodborne, Ratchet &Clank or Spyro/Crash on my switch. Companies have their monopolies
