Gallon of Milk a Day

I personally just think raw milk tastes much better.

I love the taste of normal milk, and drink it fairly regularly, but when I get a chance to get some raw milk I destroy that.

I can put down 2litres of milk pretty easily, but I’ll feel over milk by the end of it. Raw milk on the other hand I could keep drinking all day if it wasn’t so expensive.

I have heard that it is much tastier and I LOVE milk, which is something that interested me, but again, no chance to try it.

Well if you ever get the chance just remember it’s easy to drink twice as much as you intend to, without realising it.

Milk kills me in anything more than a cup (lactose intolerant).

But I could eat a dozen eggs at a time. I love me some embryos!

So I could go for 2GOMAD!!! Extra Gains!!!

Kidding. I remember Meadows mentioning that; he also mentioned some people have to ease into it (which a women who was raised on it and had people drink it also said). Either way it’s not really an option right now.

Embryos are delicious (and nutritious) but nothing like a cold glass of bovine mammary secretions!

I made my best gains on more than a GOMAD… I was back in High School, running crazy volume shit like GVT and Breathing Squats and downing about 6000cals a day

Got to a thick 230lbs at 18yo… Built me a nice base

No milk these days though. Shit ruins me. I’m talking acid shits that burn my ass and terrible acne…

can you elaborate on this?
i got terrible acne when i was doing gomand… still get some when i eat lots of dairy

Processed? Saying that pork tenderloins are better than hot dogs is one thing. Saying that unheated milk is better than heated milk is another.

The lactose intolerance argument doesn’t work on mutants like me.

I suggest you google Dr. Jerome Fishers Article “Acne Vulgaris-A study of one thousand cases” as it will explain a lot about dairy and acne. Go to www.acnemilk.com, there is a basic overview along with a link to his paper too. If you are prone to acne through a genetic predisposition, then diet 100% will play it’s role in the development of acne. So when people argue that “my friend eats like crap but has flawless skin” it is really due to genetic difference. However I firmly believe that just because someone doesn’t exhibit such an obvious aliment such as acne does not mean that their body is not suffering from conventional dairy. Typical dermatologists are puppets to the pharmaceutical companies, as they will attest diet has no role, which total BS. They can’t sell you a healthy diet, they wouldn’t make money, so they give you drugs as a treatment. Diet is one of the major players in the root cause of acne in prone individuals. I cut out milk and it healed my acne on a drastic scale. If you do cut dairy don’t worry about calcium as well, as legit studies have proven that milk is actually a very poor source of this metal, there are much better options out there. (another ploy by the dairy industry to market their products a good source of calcium! it’s BS)

Luckily I have no negative reaction to dairy at all, unless I mix it with certain foods (usually something spicy); even then it is just mild indigestion (which I sometimes get from spicy food alone anyway). I’ll agree ditching milk is probably a healthy choice but for now its the easiest and cheapest option for me to gain weight.

I agree, for a person whose only concern is weight gain, milk is an excellent option, good luck bulking bro!

I did GOMAD for a few months, and got the first real gains of my life. Go for it!
So what else did you eat every day apart from the milk?

in my experience, gomad with boring but big is a recipe for awesome mass and strength gains. i will always be a believer in milk as the cheapest most effective weight gainer.

if you are fat (even a little overweight), dont do it
If you are going to use 1% fat milk - dont do it

I got one for you… its called DEAD. A Dozen Eggs A Day. (we are shooting for provoking acronyms right?) Whats your relationship with eggs? Five dozen from Costco can range in costs about 6-10$ depending on your location. Granted these are the “low quality” type. I would mix in the organic omega 3 every other day or so… Do this for a month and you may get some sick gains! Seriously, At least I did. I never wanted to even touch a GOMAD let alone a single oz of that stuff from what my background in anthropology has taught me along with certain heath aliments that have been alleviated since giving up milk and wheat products (Acne anyone? what about severe IBS?), be it raw or not, personally my body doesn’t agree with cows milk. Try DEAD. This thread has insipid me to give it another round for a month! (but this time I plan on using 100% organic omega3s now that I have a decent job) Anyone else ever try this?

ps. possible downside lovely Egg Farts, naturally but in my experience less likely if you go organic HQ omega3. also, I scrambled and fried, but majority I boiled and stocked the fridge.
I think eggs are much better

I know these things My doctorate is in Bro-science

but seriously, eggs are awesome

Try it and watch your results. If you start to look like a pregnant chick do something different.

I used to do the same thing. I guess it is a “new” thang for it to be the worst choice…despite helping to build tons of huge muscular people.

I guess I didn’t make things anywhere near complicated enough.

Also, will people quit acting like Raw milk is going to be of some great benefit to a bodybuilder as far as muscle gains. That is ridiculous. Please stop. If YOU want to drink raw milk, great, but telling people that it somehow means better progress is taking it too far.
I get what you’re saying, but the OP mentioned that milk is getting bashed lately, and some of the bashing is because of the processing of milk. So, mentioning raw milk can at least let people know there are alternatives that would be better.

Also, no problem in at least recommending alternatives to milk that may not pose health issues down the line, if the same progress can be accomplished.
While I can understand someone wanting to tell others about raw milk being available, the act I am speaking of is people acting like it is BETTER or will somehow produce better results in a bodybuilder. This is nonsense. There are too many variables and we just had a thread looking at studies and they all sucked. Raw milk is a choice, but no, it is NOT proven to be “better” than regular milk. Less processing does not always mean “better”…and store bought milk isn’t holding back anyone’s progress.
Thanks for bringing some logic to this. I am also sick and tired of hearing about raw-milk and all the logical fallacies that go along with it. What a bunch of bullshit. This is what happens when people read internet misinformation.

Get educated on critical thinking people!

I would love to add eggs and milk to my diet. Milk makes me shit like crazy and so do eggs. Actually anymore than 3 eggs at a time makes me throw up. Weird.
