Able to do what? Loose fat? Not sure what your asking. Loosing body fat isnt that complex.
Whats your current weight and height?
How much are you wanting to drop?
20 days ago you posted about gaining while fasting. So what exactly are you wanting to bloody do?
No, you are not going to gain weight/muscle and lose fat unless you are a beginner or on gear.
On occasion after a long layoff if one has already reached a previous amount of muscle mass established. But thats not always a given.
The others have you covered. You need to choose gaining muscle or dropping fat.
An aggressive training schedule like this is NOT the time to attempt to lose fat.
You have this website posting that it’s a potential outcome. I’m not sure why it’s such a touchy question to ask. Obviously I understand conventional wisdom.
Yeah none of my shit fits anymore in the chest and shoulders and it’s been 7 weeks on the program. It’s ridiculous
The first time I ran BBB, my physique so radically changed that one of my wife’s co-workers thought my wife divorced and remarried in the time since I had last seen them.
But I definitely didn’t lose fat when that happened. Right now I’m losing fat, and attempting a schedule of that rigor is absolutely out of the question for me.
Thats a problem why?
Again your height and weight?
I pointed out the issues and those were beginner women who were undereating protein at baseline.
Who is touchy about it?
What’s your primary goal @Juicewrld? Do you want to look better in a t-shirt or without it?
Where are you right now? Like are you so undermuscled that losing fat is just a bad choice regardless (or so fat that you can’t afford to put on more weight)?
I had not read the article…
Really dont care about one study.
I have muscle but I am trying to become stronger and larger in the upper body, would like to become more symmetrical, and when I have a good cardio and training program I definitely get it.
The problem I’m getting is all the caloric intake is giving me a gut, as well as substantially increasing the upper body size and strength.
That’s why you do a fat loss phase after gaining
Can you post a pic? How many cals are you eating and what are you eating?
Are you getting fat or just a larger belly? Depending on what your meals look like and how much food your taking in it could just be you are bloated.
Eating about 1.25g of protein and carbs per pound of current weight while training 4 days with 5/3/1 plus HIIT on off days can support fat loss if calories stay in check. For balance and flexibility, I recommend adding wall Pilates workouts from BetterMe world—they improve core strength and recovery, complementing your routine naturally.
Why do you folks keep doing HIIT during fat loss phases? Save intense training for when calories are UP. HIIT is performance: eat for that. Fat loss is time for walking
People dont understand or know about the Krebs cycle.
Because the internets tell them to. Just like they tell them they can build muscle and lose fat. Way too many of these posts popping up. I don’t think people have any clue what a recomp is but that’s what they are trying to do. Not gonna happen unless you are heavily muscled coming off a gaining phase just trying to clean up a little.
These posts are exhausting.
