Gaining Momentum!!!

I would have to say one of the down-sides to gaining muscle, quickly, is also gaining fat.

I’m going to incorporate a fat-burner in my workout regime. I’m thinking about using HOT- ROX. I’ve read some articles about how it can burn fat and improve muscle gains.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou,

Demon

Don’t use a fat burner on a bulking cycle man. Save it for after youre done trying to bulk up then cut weight. If do it correctly you will see little or no muscle loss. By the way just curious as to how you increased your bench from 265-275 to 305-315 in two weeks? How did you manage that one? A 40 pound increase is crazy unless you previously had crazy form issues that you now fixed. Or you are a newbie to decent training cycles. Which is it?

Or maybe you were just gaining a lot of fat.

OMG… he flames everyone for looking into too much detail on his diet when hes asking for advice on it. Then when he is finally backed into a corner and is made to realize how ridiculous he is he says “im no nutritionist”. Sorry bud but it doesnt take a nutritionist to know that carbs are in fruits and veggies. People like you should not be allowed to reproduce. I really hope you are a troll because if you are being serious it is quite sad that someone can have such a personality.

Good question. I’ve been taking in a lot of food and protein, vitamins, creatine, and Surge among others. Also I’ve implemented the QD program, improved power-lifting technique on the flat, and explosive muscle triggering in all aspects of my workouts.

hey, you mention you increased your bench, quite nicely I might add. But what are your squats and deadlift numbers? You’re a pretty big guy I imagine you could move quite a bit on those.

Also another question, I know some strength will be gained on any program, but isn’t your main goal hypertrophy? If so how much have you gained?

I haven’t maxed-out on my squat, as of late, but I finish off from a 12-10-8 to failure routine doing 315 lbs at 8 reps. I’m really not sure what my max is but it’s probably decent.

When I first started this insane workout I was at 210-212 lbs at 20%-22% BF. After about 8 days I have lost around 10 lbs at around 19%-21% BF and was sitting on around 201 lbs. After just over 2 weeks I gained back the 10 lbs at about 19% BF. Since then I’ve been going up about 2 1/2 pounds per week and hovering around 18% BF. I weigh about 215.5 - 216 lbs.

I’m going to start cutting at the end of this month no matter what weight I’m sitting on. If my numbers in the gym are going up than I must be making some sort of progression right?

I do have a question. My body temperature is pretty warm and I’m always burning up it seems. After I finish my workout, and take my Surge and creatine followed by high protein meals, I feel like shit! I’m doing the correct doses and cycles the supplements are telling me to incorporate. It seems the only thing that keeps me going through the day is the Spike I take in the morning. If it wasn’t for the water I’m taking in I think I could pass-out.

Thanks,

Demon

This is for the both of you,

I’m sorry if you think the only calories I’m taking in are protein and carbs but you are sadly mistaken…Now, why are people soo confused and must think to gain weight, particualarly muscle, you must just eat 6000 calories or more a day.

Building up self-made arguments and tearing them down, now that is EXTREME!

Fuck man, I could go for a Mountain Dew and an Extreme BMX ride, after I kick some extreme ass! Thinking, rationalizing, that’s for pussies, I am extreme, I am the Empiror of Extreme. Someone through me a bottle of surge so I can drink it…aggressively, huge aggresive gulps, and I ain’t no nutritionist!

How has your LBM increased as you are at the halfway mark, correct? By my calculations (I know again thinking is stupid) you should have gained about 15 pounds of muscle (LBM), correct? You may also want to remember what effects Creatine will have on your weight (not subcutaneous fat), which could explain half of those #'s. Having big goals is not the problem at all, its the withdrawal for any sort of knowledge which would require listening and comphrension, amonst the seemingly obsessive relying on supplments, is not the way to your goal.

I could also have a goal to fly, doesn’t mean I will no matter how “hard” I try.

Good luck and gives us an end of the month update.

Nice pic!!!

I could use one of those really big rocks right now…

No! Demon, please! Keep giving us the feedback from your month of bulking; if everything works, the whole shebang. When you’re finished the cutting cycle, post the numbers and a pic. I’m dying to find out how it all turns out.

This is the best thread I’ve read all day!

Fantastic!!! Yea it’s very intelligent to cut and bulk in the same month… you’re a genius!!! I’m not cutting till next month. Read the article!

God damn! I eat 3000-4000 kcalories per day and I weigh something like 145 lbs. I must have terrible genetics…

I’ve tried 2 weeks bulk and 2 weeks cut and it works!!

I gained 5 lean pounds at the time!

I’m currently 156 lb and preparing for a show in Finland.

Sauna, Suomi, Perkele!

Need more tricep work.
