I buy powdered Gatorade in the little orange tub.
Lemon/Lime ingredients:
Sucrose, dextrose, cit. acid, salt, Na citrate, nat. lem/lime flavor, mono-K phosphate, ca silicate, yellow #5
1 T (14g) = 13g carb @ 50 cals
I don’t see any show stoppers here.
Interesting, bought a few bottles over a year ago had hydrogenated oil in it
I don’t doubt it. The little premeasured packs have HygOil in them. The Gatorade bottled drinks have a different formula than the powders.
On top of that, food manufacturers cater to different regions of the country (and other countries) with slightly different formulas for things.
There is also variation depending on where a lot is packed. I used the example in another thread about Poptarts. My preggo wife has been on a Poptart tear but won’t touch HydOil. On the shelf, one box had it listed on the label, one didn’t!

g2 Gatorade with sucrose? Sucrose fucks with ur kidneys and liver, and while they are both trying to filter out the sucrose it halts muscle development, the dye in the drink doesnt help either. So I suggest using the regular protein, not to mention the body doesn’t recolonize sucrose as a sugar, so ur not going to get much benefit from it after a workout.
On the bright side if your drinking the blue g2 nd uve had back injuries it aids with it. Stick to the regular Gatorade, safer plus its real sugar which your body recognizes as a carbohydrate.
Holy bloated lines of bastardized bullshit, Batman!
Thanks for the input. Found that small orange tub of the lemon lime powder at my grocery store. Not the ideal mixer with vanilla but it works. It’s a small change but every little bit counts I guess. Thanks again.

Orange is the best flavor to mix with vanilla. Tastes like a creamsicle once you get it right.
