NOTES:

Felt super fucking good today. Well hydrated and my diet has been on point. For some reason, when I have cottage cheese, then have my carb backload before bed, I train like a BEAST in the morning. I tried it with other protein sources, and it doesn’t work as well. I mix a cup of cottage cheese with one scoop of whey and some cinnamon. Tastes pretty damn good!

Two days off then back to 5’s without singles on Monday.

AND THEN THERE WAS THE EAR INFECTION!

NOTES:

I have an ear infection and can’t hear out of my right ear. I decided to train to see if I could feel any better after getting moving and how I would feel during the day. So far, I feel a LITTLE better, but I have a sore throat. Blah. Going in to get some meds tomorrow and I may push my DEATHlift back a day or two.

Weight felt good and nothing was too much of a struggle. I’m still kinda sore from the 505 on Friday, but I think I should be good whenever I decide to DL.

OK, so I kicked this ear infection’s ass and got some good rest. Spent the day yesterday chasing my three year old niece around the park and buying her things. Good stuff. I needed it.

Today starts my 1RM week with singles. Lets see how things progress this week!

NOTES:

Fuck you.

I hit 505 squat for a double a week or so ago. Resting this week and show time on Saturday. Haven’t been posting, prepping for another deployment real soon. Boom!

Damn. Haven’t been here in a while. New squat PR 525 smoke show and I’m moving on to the CUBE method. I’ll be starting my own site this year as well. Getting ready for my last year in the military and on to bigger and better things.

Was squat the only lift you did at the meet? I trained there last month and met Jeremy Scruggs. I almost joined and let him train me, but decided against it. It was just to far of a drive for me, and I wasn’t all that impressed since they had lost some good equipment due to building a crossfit box.

Didn’t get to make it down there. My brother and I had to work, so I just took some new numbers on that Saturday real quick. I was prepping to deploy, so I think a bit of the conditioning I was doing messed me up. Totaled 1265 with a hitch on a 500 deadlift I didn’t count. Which would have given me a 1300+ total at 206 with very little rest between lifts. Not bad. We’ll see how this Cube Method works out.
