CBL is a lot of fun, my main challenge is getting enough carbs in my 6 - 11pm window without resorting to ice cream every night.
Yeah, I’ve been having a lot of rice and gluten free carbs. My schedule has been so hectic with two 8-week college courses, holidays, and 60+ hour work weeks, I have kinda been off routine the past week or so. I’m still down a total of 11 lbs after I worked carbs back in and I’m feeling stronger and have more energy throughout the day. The biggest thing for me is having enough energy to train heavy first thing in the morning while fasted. I think I’m finally starting to adapt and I’m recovering very well.
Passed my fitness test today with a decent score and back to heavy training tomorrow.
Took 6 fucking algebra tests today. Long day. Something about Jesus’ birthday is next week. Eating carbs then hitting the haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!! Be back killing it tomorrow!
I SWEAR TO MY FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS, TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO FINISH IN FIRST PLACE!!!

Training went well and I liked what is going down. Even when I feel weak, I feel strong. Looking at a meet in the spring. I’m deploying again in the summer. Going to Kyrgyzstan (near MOTHER RUSSIA!). I hope SPOCKIE is excited about this! Boom!!

435x3
475x1
505x2 (FIRST PULL OVER 500 and FIRST DOUBLE OVER 500)
CALLED IT A FUCKING DAY!
NOTES:
Carb backloading kicks ass. I’m 11 lbs lighter and smashing my sessions!
435 felt so good I took a couple more sets. Turned out hitting a double PR. I went full-RUHtard and hit some ammonia caps before. I’m now having a chocolate chip and whipped cream sandwich with some surge recovery, leucine peptides, and had some creatine malate just before that. FUCK YOU MAYANS!
Worked 60 hours already since Sunday. Gotta love the US military! Time to go squat and work out some of this stress. Today, I will set my next meet date as well as write down some preliminary meet goals. OHH MANNN!!!
345x5
395x3
435x1 (with a sick ass pause at the bottom)
DEFICIT DEAD (about 3" or so, maybe more. Bar is barely above tops of my shoes)
worked up to 325x5
CONDITIONING
20 min treadmill inclines
DONE!
NOTES:
Worked way too fuckin much/way to fuckin hard this week. I love picking up the slack for several other “NCOs”, if they so choose to claim that title. Now I have a fuck-ton of days off and some time to rest, relax and get my shit together for the meet.
Diet has been crappy, but my belt was a little loose today, so I guess I’m still losing some fat. We’ll see next week.
Time to take a nap and then take my algebra final. I will have all requirements for my Associate’s degree done this week and I just need to get all my stuff evaluated and makes sure all my transcripts are in. I’m pretty excited about this. One degree down, two more to go!

Awesome pull! Guess the whole deadlifting twice a week is working out.
Yeah man… My weakest point has been the first few inches off the ground. The deficit deads are helping a ton. The regular DEATHlifts even feel hella short when I train them. I’m feeling good. I did feel drunk for about 36 hours after that session, though. Haha! My body was WRECKED! Haha, I guess that’s a good thing.
Worked up to 395 for somewhere between 10 and 15 reps. I lost count at 8 and I went HAM NEWTON again on my last set. I’m working on increasing my frequency and basically forcing my body to raise the baseline for performance. Eating like it’s my damn job right now and working on recovery.
NEED SOME MORE SUPPS, ANYONE WANNA BUY ME SOMME??!!!?!

NOTES:
Starting to hit that wall of being tired from accumulating a lot of fatigue. I’m gonna push through for a while and get as much sleep and food as I can. Just feeling tired, the strength is still there for now.
CBL today consists of a serving of Surge Recovery, 1/2lb burger on a ciabatta roll, and home made fries. YUM!
YOU TRYIN TO BUILD SOME MUSCLE, MANNNN??? THAT’S GOOOOOOOD, MAN. THAT’S REEEEALLL GOOOOOD!!!
TRAINING:
PVC/WARM UP

275x10
PLANKS

then 4 sets of 45 seconds
DONE!!
NOTES:
I’m starting to hit a wall, but I’m pushing through it for now. I know everyone says to listen to your body and everyone says blah, blah, blah. I feel like kicking ass right now, so I’m gonna kick ass. I don’t really give a fuck.
CBL has me feeling great and I’m still progressing even though I feel kinda run down. Fuck your logic.

Yo man I’m reading you are hitting deadlift PR’s and finishing up degrees in the same week? That’s pretty fucking baller.
Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year buddy.
Yeah man, def in a BLAST mode right now. Which is good, I was feeling hella DUST for a minute.
You too, bro. My Christmas consisted of working, dealing with terrified Texans due to the 5 inches of snow, and being real damn cold. New Years was pretty chill. Having two lesbian best friends always leads to a crazy time! haha

Oh yes, my uncle who lives in your neck of the woods told my momma about the snowfall.
We laughed at him cause usually he brags about needing to use his air conditioner in the middle of winter while were freezing our faces off.
Glad your training is going well, and congrats on finishing your school !
The snow down here is a national emergency! It’s quite tragic! haha
Thank you! I still have my bachelors and masters to complete. I’m sitting at 90 hours right now and need 121 for my BS. Should have it soon!!!

FUCK. YES!
Gonna rest tomorrow, minus a bit of conditioning and then go DEATHlift on Monday! Feeling good. Ready to kill.
YOU NEVER KNOW HOW STRONG YOU ARE UNTIL YOU GET BACK UP AFTER YOU FELT LIKE DYING!

TREADMILL INCLINE WALK

DONESON!
NOTES:
Increasing my frequency hasn’t had a negative affect on my strength yet. Sleeping my ass off is helping!
I’ve eliminated some stressful situations from my life and I love it.
DEATHlifts are feeling fast as fuck off the ground. That’s the shit I DO like. Still eating like a boss and I’ve weighed in at 209 consistently three times in two weeks. I’m down from 221 when I started CBL. I’m leaner AND stronger so far. We’ll see what happens. I’m having trouble finding a meet close to me in the time frame I want to compete. I may just do the PUSH/PULL at MetroFlex-MidCities. We’ll see.

notes:
Felt good besides that damn cramp in the center of my back. I’m staying tighter and thats ALWAYS a good thing!
Squatting tomorrow and I got my Shock Dr. knee/elbow sleeves in the mail today. Bout damn time! Also downloaded some music production software. Look for my debut album to come out sometime next week!
